While I was playing with the domain name valuation tool at Godaddy I noticed something odd.  I put in a name I bought from Godaddy and it gave a price.  It also showed how it got to that result based on past sales.  And low and behold one of those sales it showed was my purchase price from Godaddy.  A price that nobody knew and was private.  Evidently not any more.  I knew they were using all their past sales to make this tool, just didn’t think they would put that information out for everyone to see.  Now I’m scraping the site for previous unknown sales 🙂
