Domain Spotlight:

Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday March 17th

I read yesterday on DnJournal that T. J. Demas has passed away last summer and it was something that most of in the industry hadn’t known.   T.J was a guy that really motivated me to buy numerics and he and I had some great conversations over the years.  He was who I patterned my portfolio after.  He even forwarded the traffic from to our website for quite a while. He said it did it because he liked what we did here.   I have always credited the kind words from three people as the motivator for me to keep doing the blog.  T.J. was one, Gary Chernov and Bill Karamouzis are the others.  Those three told me they enjoyed the telling of my journey, especially the personal side of it.  It meant more to me than any accomplishments in domain investing. To have that your respect from afar reach out and give the respect back is a wonderful thing.  A moment that can be drawn on for a long time. Even if its brief.

I am sad for the loss of T.J because he often talked of his son Agamit who will turn 25 on July 7th.  I could tell that making money was something he enjoyed but was nothing compared to the passion of when he talked about his kid. T.Js loss is just another reason why waiting may not always be the best thing to do.  There can be such thing as enough. Life is measured in experiences not money.  Money only pays for those experiences.  Unfortunately experiences often require a healthy body and life doesn’t always deal you a fair hand.  All you can do is make sure to try and keep that body healthy, make good choices,  and hopefully you’ll make a little money in domains so you can go have those experiences.

Here are today’s names.  Click for current price

Quote Of The Day:  “

Domain Of The Day: Bitcoin name. I see $5000 bitcoin but that’s for another article. No bids

Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids  Not the term that people like to use now but regardless, its going to do very well   Long name but we all can relate to it.  18 years old. At $15  Better than average 5L because the babblishicity  You’re buying backlinks and an old company name and     With a V and vowels these have been going for $230 but these should do a little better   anything lawyer probably has value   I don’t buy but if I did this is exactly the kind I would buy   Biggest price on the GD board today   I take that back.  Same price here,  and   are a few of the up for auction today. Prices WAAAY down but still have value.  I had a moment where I thought .co were OK. Now, I watch.  Waiting for flip opportunities   People like gator names   Doesn’t really mean anything but makes a good grand and all the bidders agree

Domains With One or No Bids 13 years old. Was a flower shop specializing in weddings. Great name for exactly that. No bids and I am still buying top level one word dot cc for $12. Not telling you to, just showing they are for sale No bids. Trump may want this No bidders. Easily the worst thing a person can do to their body is fill their lips. Affiliate marketing still a big moneymaker for many No bids. Not sure what you would do with it but its a very memorable word One bidder. Nothing better than nature Also known as weed lights I think bongs are going to reach all time highs. No pun intended Here’s one more I like. Has a bid…not me

SEDO  Great keyword for a dot ai and cheap IMO    I’m in the fruit biz myself.  Not bad for $100  Big boy with the C at the end   With all the great shows on right now there is plenty of opportunity for spoilers

Namejet Auction  Met reserve at $600   Bad if you’re at the doctor  Going to have to be a guide but price isn’t too bad so you can put the money towards buildout   Providing proof is more important than ever.  No bidders     Find out where it went .  Only 2 bidders   Forex market in Spanish.  1 bidder  Huge business.  Lending money against credit card receivables is a multi billion dollar business  Fantastic letters.  Over Under $1667   Credit

  1. I’m constantly amazed that people that are worth millions upon millions of dollars spend even one precious minute still working to make even more money.

Life is too short for that…

    1. Tim,

Making money is all some people know. To me its just a way to keep score so I understand why it comes across as there is never enough. But too many it is just a game. You can continue to make money and have great experiences.
