Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday September 1st

Sep 01 2017

If I were going to start over in business tomorrow I would be in solar.  Installing, selling, inventing.   I envision everyone’s roof covered in solar tiles.  All cars plugged into a grid at work because their roofs are solar panels  Even sections of roads strong enough to be solar panel but take traffic.  I’m a little old to dive in deep but I haven’t felt this strongly about the future of something since I was convinced that the iPhone was the future of phones.  I’m one for one.  I have a few things I am thinking about creating that are solar related and go with my nursery.  Trying to put together a solar box that is strong enough and stores enough power to run a pond or a fountain.   Solar has improved so much since I made my box two years ago.  The battery isn’t much smaller but the panels are 1/5  of the price and more powerful.  Not only will it allow people to put things where there is no power but it will pay for itself eventually because inefficient pumps cost a lot of money to run.  We’ll see how it goes.  Back to domains. Here are today’s names. Click for most recent price and hopefully you’ll find some you like.

Domains of the Day:

Namejet , DropCatch, and Sedo Names at Auction Great brand for an organic product.  15 bidders agree   W for worldwide    This one actually has more bidders   I can think of all the very good and very bad tempting things to put on this site.  No bidders  The V is going to keep the price in check. But it will still always be a  A great career with the onset of online advertising. A field that many businesses don’t understand    I admit, I don’t know what country .gr is but I sure know what Bitcoin Cash is.   Has 14 bids and closes today   Visibly its a very balanced name    Not really into number dot orgs but this one is pretty short   For the millionth time.  I thin NNL and LLN dot coms are good investments     I don’t like zero and 0 names but it still is a and that keeps it liquid and investable IMO.  5 Bids  Emoticon is good enough to have some value on the .net   A few bidders agree  Yup, just like you thought.  Four figure name   Under $500 would be a good buy IMO   Already a coin and that’s why its at four figures early

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids   Unwritten laws are things like “you don’t dunk if you’re up by 20 points with a minute left”  Important stuff like that    Its a thing and its hot as F   Urban Cowboy days were glorious days   More US citizens are taking trips there each year   Everyone loves free.  Of course nothing really is   As expected, most bids on the board.  Ok, nobody expected   May not be as big as it was but I still see guys playing 6 games at the same time in Starbucks    Because ugly diamonds just doesn’t have the same ring to it   A CHiP so in the $1000 range   Fantasy sports all the way    I like organico better but it works   Price is all about the history and backlinks    People love brand site names.  Especially when it has brand in the name   Under $100 is a great buy here IMO

Domains That I Like With One or No Bids Bitcoin converters and traders are popping up every day. This one tells you exactly what the site does Good brand for $12. Cute name It’s the trees between the sidewalk and the road. Every city buys thousands of them. Trust me, I know Nice play on lunch boxes Caught at the right moment picture site ? No bidders Energy AND Data. One bidder No body is going to buy this because that’s not the goal of people. They want it gone, not to pay it back This thing would have gotten $300 a few years ago. Now , now bids Park your domains here

I’m 100% with you here Shane. Solar is the way to go, and I feel very strongly about it. Elon Musk has gotten a lot of criticism for not hitting the deadlines he says things for Tesla and SolarCity will be ready it. I say who cares? He gets the job done and has made some amazing products/advancements in the sustainability field. Going back to your original point about investing or starting a business in it – it’s pretty nice to be in such a positive space where people truly feel good about the product.

Thats fine if you live in a sunny country but what about the likes of the U.K here everybody gets taxed on their energy bills to pay for all this energy because there is not enough sun for solar…

Solar sounds great, until you realize it has turned into a commodity product/service with very low margins. That is why many solar companies are only viable due to government subsidies.
