I am constantly amazed how many businesses still don’t get it. Every single day I watch commercials or see billboards that have just the phone number. I have a ZERO percent chance of remembering that phone number. The pay to make the commercial, dance and sing, pay for a jingle, pay to run the commercial, and then leave me nothing to take action on. Sure, I could go to Google and type in what I thought the name was and go from there but why leave it to the middle man? I imagine nobody is guiding them in their marketing but the TV station should at least be smart enough to say “Maybe we can sing the web address not the random 10 number phone number” In some ways I’m happy because it means there is progress to be made. A quick note. I dismissed the .ws auction at Namejet until I saw something that I had to read twice. Mostly because it has a typo but also because what it says. It says that all the names at this .WS auction are renewed until 2099. Yes ,2099. Actually it says “don’t UNTIL Expire in 2099” but on the side it says its correctly. That means if you buy them you have 81 years to try and sell it without cost. At least it makes it interesting
