It’s a special day in the US. A day squeezed between a weekend and a holiday. A day a lot of people took off and a day that people are going to go into work and goof off. Of course for my retail business its busy. Because of the above. I have to work when everyone else has off. Full time domain investors love to brag about their flexible schedule “I can work anywhere there’s an Internet connection”, which I am jealous of. At some point I will have a flexible schedule, but that time is not now. Now I work all the time. The hope of building a business is two fold.. One that business should keep going after you leave. Leaving a legacy. A legacy of income for its owners and its employees. The second is you either have income for life, even after you retire. Either in one big paycheck or a lifetime draw from the company.
Where am I going with this? I’m just trying to make myself feel better because I have to work today and tomorrow. (tomorrow just to make sure the timers and water worked) Domain investing has made that retirement day come much quicker as well. It has provided me a nest egg (hopefully) and regular income that has compounded over the years that is pure extra. The nursery has built my future but domains has made it that much brighter. Now off to work.
On a side note. Not sure if any of you are Tour de France fans but man do I love Taylor Phinney. He is fun to watch and one of the great interviewers. Here’s to hoping he keeps that King of the Mountain polka dot jersey. Love him. Here are today’s names. Click for most recent price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
That’s pretty hard work from you Shane and the continuity is amazing.
Hemant,
Thank you. Sometimes its better to be constant than good 🙂
Working hard and staying focused with always put you above the crowd. You are a great example of that. Most people are lazy.
I think one of the big differences between domain and cc’s is that cc’s can be purchased in fractions. If I want to own a piece of a great domain name I have to buy it outright. With cc’s you can purchase a fraction of the coin you like. Much more user friendly and liquid compared to domains imho.
Steve,
I buy fraction of names all the time. I go in with partners on larger names to split the input cost. The DSAD group bought a name together not to long ago and I have several other names in partnership. Certainly not as easy as Bitcoin but it can and is being done
1) So .xyz now has Albert Einstein as a spokesperson? lol
.
2) Not sure if it’s just me .. but It’s almost like the expirations also took a holiday today .. my list of domains to watch is by far the shortest of the year .. 60% of the average day.
.
3) Speaking of shared domains .. Did you Sherpas get the name you talked about a couple of weeks ago that just went on auction a few days ago? Seems it went really high!
