Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday July 3rd

Jul 03 2017

It’s a special day in the US.  A day squeezed between a weekend and a holiday.  A day a lot of people took off and a day that people are going to go into work and goof off.  Of course for my retail business its busy.  Because of the above.  I have to work when everyone else has off.  Full time domain investors love to brag about their flexible schedule “I can work anywhere there’s an Internet connection”, which I am jealous of. At some point I will have a flexible schedule, but that time is not now.  Now I work all the time.  The hope of building a business is two fold..  One that business should keep going after you leave. Leaving a legacy.  A legacy of income for its owners and its employees.  The second is you either have income for life, even after you retire.  Either in one big paycheck or a lifetime draw from the company.

Where am I going with this?  I’m just trying to make myself feel better because I have to work today and tomorrow. (tomorrow just to make sure the timers and water worked)    Domain investing has made that retirement day come much quicker as well.  It has provided me a nest egg (hopefully) and regular income that has compounded over the years that is pure extra.   The nursery has built my future but domains has made it that much brighter.   Now off to work.

On a side note.  Not sure if any of you are Tour de France fans but man do I love Taylor Phinney.  He is fun to watch and one of the great interviewers.  Here’s to hoping he keeps that King of the Mountain polka dot jersey.  Love him.  Here are today’s names. Click for most recent price

Quote of the Day: “If A is a success in life, then A equals X plus Y plus Z. Work is X; Y is play, and Z is keeping your mouth shut.” -Albert Einstein

Domain of the Day:      Can’t go wrong with a BTC name right now

Namejet Auctions   Only three bidders.   the shortness alone gives it some value IMO     I can see a whole fashion line built around this    Bethel Garden of Prayer   Another “Of” name.   I like these   Going to be tough to hit reserve.  Just depends which side of the numbers its on   Going to take a buildout to make this special but its a term so many are looking for. People love the beach  Goes with the above.   Also a bumper sticker  #saltlife   Only a few bidders

Flippa Auction Names

30 (THIRTY) KEYWORD RICH .COM, Domain Names, and Chinese Lucky Number Combinations!!!

Sedo Names At Auction   Reserve is very reachable on this one today.  Ends today   Are ETH names going to ramp up in every TLD  Has a fantastic first bid

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids   Originally registered in 1996.   Customer is always #1    Since Scrub buddy sold like a trillion units why not use Sun Buddy   Good acronym letters and some age.  Or “you see it?” Will keep a reasonable price because of the vowels   Just like you thought.  Crossed $2K already   I don’t like the plural but like all the backlinks. Lots of bidders like both    Look at this price and think how many of these you could have hand registered a few years ago.  Bitcoin is great but we had our own opportunity in domains   Good for our industry    5700 backlinks and 10 years old.   Certainly memorable.  Crossed $600 at press time   Could be cute, could be a stomper site   Speaking of stomper site

Domains That I Like With One or No Bids Very nice CVCV. Picked up at Dropcatch for $7200 back in 2015 Another one up for sale in a week Most people don’t even work a second shift Very nice for $12 IMO I think mobile game developer immediately. No bids Missing an N but probably will still picked up by him If you sell apples then Apple computer has made things difficult for you. Here is a name for $12 that they can actually use. And its memorable I like this one as well at the opening price Pretty sure they sell shoes in London. Haven’t been there to see them in person though Only 2,000 google results so as easy as it gets to rank 1st Just typing out the domain is a great first step Everyone could use a little more sleep. Except cats. They’re good

Working hard and staying focused with always put you above the crowd. You are a great example of that. Most people are lazy.
I think one of the big differences between domain and cc’s is that cc’s can be purchased in fractions. If I want to own a piece of a great domain name I have to buy it outright. With cc’s you can purchase a fraction of the coin you like. Much more user friendly and liquid compared to domains imho.

I buy fraction of names all the time. I go in with partners on larger names to split the input cost. The DSAD group bought a name together not to long ago and I have several other names in partnership. Certainly not as easy as Bitcoin but it can and is being done

    1) So .xyz now has Albert Einstein as a spokesperson? lol
    2) Not sure if it’s just me .. but It’s almost like the expirations also took a holiday today .. my list of domains to watch is by far the shortest of the year .. 60% of the average day.
    3) Speaking of shared domains .. Did you Sherpas get the name you talked about a couple of weeks ago that just went on auction a few days ago? Seems it went really high!
