This week starts a big week in retail and usually a pretty slow week in domains. I used to find some good deals at the auctions on Thanksgiving and Friday after but that’s not been the case lately as the auctions are now International and most really don’t care about Thanksgiving. Although I don’t know how it can get much slower in domains as my offers dried up in November if you don’t count the “not really going to buy them” offers for my short stuff. Although I did get a very nice offer of $80 for Bleeb.com the other day. I had to figure out if I wanted to take the offer and take two friends to Buffalo Wild Wings. But I opted not to take and counter for more.
I know I’m crazy busy at the nursery with Christmas trees and decorations. Add to that trying to get things packed up before the winter hits and its not that relaxing of a season for me. But it’s part of how I make a living and it extends the retail season for the nursery and our employees. Now if I could just get that nice domain sale for Christmas I’ll have a great season Here are today’s domains. Click for current price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me Shane, or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
I agree with you that the miner names don’t have as much value. MineCryptocurrency.com has been up for months at $300 with no takers on godaddy auctions.
I just bought cryptoloss.com Cheap- when it crashes it may be worth something
Thanksgiving in Canada is actually 2nd Monday in October (gives us a long weekend) .. but over the last 5 years or so we are now having (American) Black Friday sales pretty much everywhere. One of those cultural influences of living next door to the planet’s economic powerhouse!
.
I find the auctions really weird .. it’s almost as if I only have one main competitor for auctions .. where there are periods when He/She is grabbing everything good I target .. then other periods where I’m grabbing the same quality stuff supercheap because maybe that person bust their budget or was on vacation? I had an easy period early in the year .. and another one very recently .. It’s really bizarre .. but if you think about it, it might seem like there are a lot of us domainers .. but there really isn’t .. there are plenty of gaps that shift .. I’m pretty sure if I looked at the new owners of domains I have *personally* targeted, that the same small handful of new registrant names account for most of the domains that go for a certain range.
.
I really like that fact though .. it means the market is very inefficient and that if you put in the work of going through the lists nightly, that you will definitely find a small handful of quality names that others have not .. thus letting you grab a small percentage for super cheap or even $11 closeout!
