When I say I say my speeches kill I didn’t mean literally.  Generally I get good feedback from my talks but I had a person in the crowd that looked less than interested.

But we got a little concerned when the talk ended and she stayed like this. Even the clapping didn’t wake her up.  A little disheartening when your talk is so bad that your audience goes into a coma sleep.  It WAS a beautiful evening.  The nursery was closed, perfect evening weather, the birds chirping, and complete silence except me talking.  The person that introduced me took the picture to razz me and sent it.  I said that if Michael Jackson would have used me to go to sleep he’d still be alive.

I ran my first half marathon race yesterday and laid down a 1:29:30 for 6:48 pace.  Better than I thought for first race of the year.  My running partner laid down a 1:25 just to remind me I have some work to do.  Always someone better and that person always seems to run with me.

Sold another name for $800 the other day.  They aren’t the big hitters but I’ll take an $800 sale of a $12 domain each week.   Especially since they are names I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep.  Now I’m not dropping or auctioning any names because the sales and offers are coming on names I was going to auction or get rid of.   This domain thing is so confusing.  Here are today’s domains.  Click to see the latest price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

21k in 1:30? Wow … that’s amazing Shane. The best I ever did after a really good summer of buildup was 2 hours flat .. mind you I went out on my own at 1am on the streets .. nothing organized .. no food/hydration. But still .. that’s 25% faster! I really need to get back into it .. maybe I need to make a little cart to drag Steamie along in or something! lol .. Anyhow .. you should be very proud of your 1h30 .. particularly considering it’s still April!

As for domains that sell .. seriously .. 80% of my sales are in what I would consider to be my lowest half quality of domain (and I’d go so far as say bottom quarter). I don’t get it either sometimes. Maybe it simply means I’m buying good enough domains so that even the worse ones are good .. or maybe I’m pricing my better ones too high? Or maybe a big of both? Or most likely .. domaining is more dumb luck than any of us would like to believe? lol
