Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday April 29th , 2018

When I say I say my speeches kill I didn’t mean literally.  Generally I get good feedback from my talks but I had a person in the crowd that looked less than interested.

But we got a little concerned when the talk ended and she stayed like this. Even the clapping didn’t wake her up.  A little disheartening when your talk is so bad that your audience goes into a coma sleep.  It WAS a beautiful evening.  The nursery was closed, perfect evening weather, the birds chirping, and complete silence except me talking.  The person that introduced me took the picture to razz me and sent it.  I said that if Michael Jackson would have used me to go to sleep he’d still be alive.

I ran my first half marathon race yesterday and laid down a 1:29:30 for 6:48 pace.  Better than I thought for first race of the year.  My running partner laid down a 1:25 just to remind me I have some work to do.  Always someone better and that person always seems to run with me.

Sold another name for $800 the other day.  They aren’t the big hitters but I’ll take an $800 sale of a $12 domain each week.   Especially since they are names I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep.  Now I’m not dropping or auctioning any names because the sales and offers are coming on names I was going to auction or get rid of.   This domain thing is so confusing.  Here are today’s domains.  Click to see the latest price

Quote of the Day:  “A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles”  Tim Cahill

Domain of the Day:  LeafShare.com  I’m biased but I have always loved leaf names.  No bids

Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction

CountrySide.com  A know of several things named this in our town alone

HireMarket.com    Just a few bids on this employment name.  Find your next star

DeerRun.com  Another name that has tons of places that share the name

GoldenLion.com  Won’t sell but makes me hungry for Chinese food

CivilUnions.com  I think this used to be owned by Ammar.  I used to own the singular

GWTW.com Great letters.  I think it hits reserve

DNSN.com Met reserve at $900

Zoma.com  Has 166 bis which is as many as I’ve seen on a name in a while.  Or maybe I just haven’t been paying attention

RarePleasure.com No bids.  Have to admit I am curious what is going to be rare

GunFactory.com   Met reserve.  Going to a new home and eventually a gun shop

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

TheKamaSutra.com    I’m almost though the entire book.  Highly recommend.  21 years old

PurpleDaisy.com  Love these types of brands.  Two common, easy to spell brands that have an easy logo

ClipperCruise.com    The East coast has lots of these.  Take a cruise like the old days.  Of course they were escaping to a new land.  But you can recreate it for $58 minus the death and rats

Outsights.com   Everyone has insights.  Get the other side

Nawaf.com  Very popular Arabic name.  Four figures and climbing

Xianmo.com  Another Chinese name dominating the charts

Yangda.com  As I was saying

WrapShop.com   Nobody is painting cars anymore, they’re wrapping them

BitCoinBuyer.com  Obvious value.  The modern day “We Buy Ugly Homes”

22278.com   I’m not going to even try and understand numerics anymore.  This flew past five figures

LEDExpress.com  Most bulbs are now LED.  Godaddy values this at $6K.  Under $100 at press time

oGaming.com  It has gaming in it.  That’s good enough to pay attention

AlwaysCool.com  I see this for a product that cools

SolarMaker.com   10 years old

Godaddy Names With One or NO Bids

FaceVR.com One bid.  Valued by GD at $4200

MapleLeafInsurance.com  Upgrade name for several companies

ALittleRomance.com  What most girls are still wanting

ChickBerry.com  Two popular naming conventions in one name. No bids

GuardWave.com  Not huge value but sounds like a real business when I say it aloud

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

21k in 1:30? Wow … that’s amazing Shane. The best I ever did after a really good summer of buildup was 2 hours flat .. mind you I went out on my own at 1am on the streets .. nothing organized .. no food/hydration. But still .. that’s 25% faster! I really need to get back into it .. maybe I need to make a little cart to drag Steamie along in or something! lol .. Anyhow .. you should be very proud of your 1h30 .. particularly considering it’s still April!

As for domains that sell .. seriously .. 80% of my sales are in what I would consider to be my lowest half quality of domain (and I’d go so far as say bottom quarter). I don’t get it either sometimes. Maybe it simply means I’m buying good enough domains so that even the worse ones are good .. or maybe I’m pricing my better ones too high? Or maybe a big of both? Or most likely .. domaining is more dumb luck than any of us would like to believe? lol
