Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday August 27th

Aug 27 2017

Escrow.com

One of my proudest achievements is not my business or my marathon times.  It’s the fact that as of yesterday I have been married 22 years.  While not the perfect husband by any means, I am doing much better than many predicted.   I think even my Mother would have bet the under on how many years someone could stay married to me.  It’s been a little easier than I predicted, but that is much more likely because the other half of my team rather than my actions.  I do know this, that I am better at every single thing I do because I am married.  I can’t over emphasize the confidence that one has knowing that at all points in time , there is a person by your side that wants to help you succeed.  A person that will help or support with no questions asked.  You really can accomplish anything with that.   It is possible to have a great life on your own but I know that I enjoy it a lot more when there is someone sitting beside me laughing at my jokes, calling out my stupid antics, cheering on my successes, and dusting me off after my crashes.   I don’t take any single day for granted and look forward to as many days ahead as I can get.  And its going to be a hell of a journey.  I appreciate all of you that read what I write here on a daily basis but I would be wrong to not mention the other half of my team that you don’t get to meet or see.  Hopefully I’ll get her to a domain conference and change that.  Enjoy the day   Here are today’s names. Quote of the Day:   “My wife said to me: ‘If you won the lottery, would you still love me?’ I said: ‘Of course I would. I’d miss you, but I’d still love you”  –Frank Carson

Domains of the Day:   DotCom.org    Not many domains you can get that are dot com AND dot org.   At $1

Namejet , DropDay, and Sedo Names at Auction

JIIQ.com   These double vowel in the middle LLLL.com are starting to heat up.  Worth keeping an eye on

InfiniteCash.com  A dream of most people.  But it would take the fun out of making it

Juiciness.com    everyone loves it juicy

WineConsultant.com      Consult on what to eat with fish or where to spend your cheese

WSWR.com     Would be a good buy under $1200 IMO.  But what do I know, I sell plants for a living

VRVN.com

Workville.com    Ville names used to be 5 figures or more.  Have settled down a bid

SmartHawk.com      Birds are easy to remember.  And smart, well smart makes you feel like you’ll be smarter for using the product

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

SecurityBox.com   19 years old.    I’ll just say bitcoin wallet since that will make it more valuable

SkydiveVegas.com   There are several places that offer it. They should own this domain for marketing reasons alone

JJIL.com   Not great letters but IL for Illinois is a decent ending

x138.com   Not sure why this one is so high.  So much randomness with numbers its hard to keep track.  Seems like a ton of bidders know something I don’t all the time

Wecide.com  I assume its getting all the bids because it represents “We Decide”

Tallet.com   A last name so will inevitably be a company name eventually

LegalHand.com    As good of a name as Legal Zoom

Click2go.com   1998 domain.  Not sure where we’re going to go but enough bidders to make it go somewhere

19459.com   Looks like it may reach four figures.  even with the 4

777205.com  777553.com  and  777807.com     Triple numbered 6N.com continue to be a good asset class

EthereumDealer.com   And ethereum is spelled correctly

CryptoCoinParty.com  and CryptoIndustries.com   Since we are talking crypto currencies

LawsuitLoan.com  There are plenty of people that will loan you money against a lawsuit you won.  And at only 18% interest

Ploko.com   You know I like my 5L

TheTeabagger.com  guy is going to make you a nice hot drink or drop his testicles on you

Domains That I Like With One or No Bids

SneakerVault.com Hard to beat the sneaker app GOAT but this is a better description name

TheMandolin.com I love the mandolin. Chris Thile is my favorite player. Amazing talent. 1998 domain

TheVitalizer.com No bidders at $12. Sounds like I am going to feel better after I use it

Zycar.com A pronounceable 5L and has the word car in it. Has to be worth something..right?

Baala.com I like the double vowels on short names and VIIM certainly did well. One bidder

CompleteHeat.com I’ll take this one to go with my Instantheat name

LostHawk.com The ultimate name for a lost and found for pet hawk owners. But not sure that’s a big crowed.

ChicagolandFinancial.com Upgrade name for a few entities. Chicagoland is the term used to refer to the city of Chicago and all the suburbs around it. Big big population

Congrat’s on your anniversary! “Behind every great man is a great woman.”
On another note lisk just cleared $7 each and seems to be holding. I was telling anyone that would listen to buy it at under $2. Still a good deal at $7.
I still don’t understand how you can push back so hard on the cc’s? With all the outer edge domain investing you have done. ie Chinese market, you would think real companies with amazing new ideas would grab your attention?? Anyway congrat’s again on your anniversary.

“I can’t over emphasize the confidence that one has knowing that at all points in time , there is a person by your side that wants to help you succeed”. Shane this is so true…
I have said many times… If I could clone my wife Bill Gates would be the second wealthiest man in the world.
    Cheers

Thanks for the great read once again. Sent a link to my wife and told her it explains how I feel. Scored me a few points and got her to read an article on domains as well. Win – Win.

      Matthew,

That’s why I am so open about everything. There are always other people that feel or think the same things I do. Until I blogged I always wondered where I stood and soon realized I’m pretty much like everyone else….just more vocal about it.

In modern culture a 22 year long marriage qualifies you to be “not like everyone else”. 🙂 Happy Anniversary and Congrats Shane.
