Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday April 6th

Apr 06 2017

Dot .ws officially collapsed today.  Ok it didn’t really collapse, but a tremendous amount of domains are on the expired list.  Words that combined would be tens of millions if they were dot com.   They’re not even getting $12 bids.   I’m not even sure how the ccTLD stays open other than me renewing my domains.  It’s a lot of pressure on me keeping the whole thing afloat. 🙂

On a side note, I drove all the way to Busch Stadium to see the Cubs play St. Louis yesterday.  It’s hard to take days off right now but I had incredible tickets so I took my Dad, a coworker and a friend.  We got there early and got a parking spot 20 feet from the field.  Walked over and got a great booth to eat and didn’t have to wait in line.  I order a drink and look at the big screen and see there is a tarp on the field as expected because it could rain.  At the bottom of the screen it says PPD.  I ask my coworker if they had canceled the game and he said he had checked 5 minutes ago and it was still on.  So he checked again.  Canceled until tomorrow.  So we had a good meal and headed home.  To make the trip worthwhile we went to a famous pie place the is off the highway and ordered 10 pies for all our friends and family.   My friend said it best.  “Probably the furthest I’ve ever driven to get 2 Lobster street tacos but they were pretty good”  Here are today’s names.  Click for current price

Quote Of The Day:  “If you don’t define yourself and proactively maintain your identity, someone else will do it for you. The idea that you can be invisible is a myth.” Patrick Ambron

Domain Of The Day: Definitely a dating site or a pretend dating site with a cam girl

Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids A little sneak preview of tomorrow’s 5 figure domain   I think this is the easiest sell on the board.  Thousands of little companies fix phone screens  21 years old.  Sounds like Index   Gotta do  At four figures so it seems to be overcoming the .net Liquido nombre A popular plant in parts of the US and the world. Not getting a lot of love   If you believe Godaddy this gets 225,000 monthly visits     Cannabis business name. We all know how those are doing lately    Originally registered in 1998 and it sounds like it   I think all the bids are hoping the domain will upgrade to the dot com    Where millions do their poker playing and   Four that will probably end under $320   Memorable but I’m going to need as welll   Andrew has a great name and I think it will meet reserve

Domains With One or No Bids Thought it was easy to spell and had a nice sound for $12. A band called Nitzer Ebb has all the Google results Hemp seeds, vegetable seeds. Lots of uses for this $12 domain Upgrade name for a bunch of entities . No bidders Great name for agriculture and canna. Online paternity test for $12 most of the results were for travel sites where no car was needed. 11 year old shorty. No bidders An app or add on to a browser 169,000 backlinks VapeNation

I owned and sold it for $430 on Flippa in 2014 – a very “dated” type of name imo but I won’t be surprised to see it go for a lot more simply because it’s a expired GoDaddy auction.
