An article on StrategicRevenue.com reminded me what Travis here at DSAD told us a while ago. We need to get the site secure and prove its secure. If you look up in the url bar above you’ll see the lock next to our domain. If you don’t see that when you visit a site it is going to present a problem for that site. Browsers and Google aren’t going to like you. SSL certs are much cheaper than they used to be and there is really no excuse not to have one if you run a site of any size. I think Amazon Web services offers it for free if you use their services like load balancer. I looked through the domain sites and there are only a couple sites that don’t already have it so it looks like it won’t be too big of a problem in the industry. Here are today’s names. Click the links for current price.
Quote of the Day: “When you go to sleep put all your problems on the nightstand and get some rest. When you wake up, eat them for breakfast -Me”
Domain of the Day: EscrowService.com 20 year old name. There are a lot more uses for escrow other than domain names.
Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

HPT.com Great Domains auction starts today. Full List Here
Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Shane, did you see the fantastic comment from Garth… I updated the article to include a resource be pointed out. There looks like there is a non-profit providing no cost SSL certs. Game changer for domainers ——-> https://letsencrypt.org
Saw that John. I know Travis spent quite a bit of time getting everything to work through https and ssl. So it actually came down to all the time it takes rather than the cost. We actually lost an advertiser
because their ad was an iFrame coming through without security and it opened a hole. They didn’t want just a gif or jpeg. In short, important but like anything important, not easy
