Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday October 5th, 2017

Oct 05 2017

James Iles, wrote a nice article about Nat Cohen and his amazing portfolio.   People in the industry know Nat has one of the best portfolios in the world and probably could be considered THE best if you were comparing the top 100 names.  What most people don’t know is that Nat is also one of the nicest, most generous guys in the industry.  When you meet him at a conference you have no idea that he was probably the biggest domain investor you met that day.  He often won’t even mention the names he has.  Just listens to you talk about how you bought this awesome two word dot com, all the while he has a pocket full of two letter dot coms. I think it says a lot about a person when you leave a conversation being wowed by his domain portfolio but even more impressed with the person that owns it.  Here are today’s names, you have to click to see current price.

Quote of the Day: :  “Work hard… Be more than what you see in the mirror. Let the world be your mirror. Don’t let them judge you, because a mirror can’t judge you. You judge what you see in the mirror” – Lil Wayne

Domain of the Day:    An upgrade name for a ton of companies but begging to become an ancestry finder site. Already getting some great bids

Portfolio of the Day:  Namejet , DropCatch, and Sedo Names at Auction   This is the kind of .io I recommend to people.  Good one word brands     It’s a  That’s really good enough   Go Fund Me with bitcoin   and  Will give us another market to value the ever popular    Another one here   Pay per view movie      Sounds like something you’re going to stick in your computer    Let us plan your future…..or just your wedding

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids  Bitcoin mining site  I thought 10K when I saw this.  Obviously going much higher   What I said yesterday about Online.  1996 domain Recent sales says this one should reach four figures. Digital Video  Ice Cold?  No, Ice Gold   “Hi my name’s Mike and I’ll be your trainer today.  Let’s say we start with 10 reps of 200 lbs to get warmed up”   Great name for a trade school or similar   Zero LLLL.   Not my kind of name but pattern lovers and the Chinese like it   Don’t buy, trade   the FX part is good but overall I’m a seller here   This one on the other hand, has some pretty good acronym letters     The acronym of my nursery but I don’t want to tell them co not com every time I give out the email although I am trying to buy right now too    Upgrade name for a few places  They are a HUGE threat to native fish populations,  and   are up for sale today.  I think there is some value in these if they stay under $300

Godaddy Names With One or No Bids the LLN have traditionally been a good investment. This repeating letter is only going to make it worth more 21 years old. Looks like its the first time its expired Vegan or meat substitute domain Good company name for someone in our industry For $12 not a bad weed finder name They talk funny Highly valuable typo of my old site’s name. Not sure how much money there is in Body Paint Somebody will win this in some rich man’s sport

Thanks for the mention Shane, Nat’s portfolio is incredible – difficult to narrow it down to just 10.

    P.S – it’s one ‘l’ in my surname. It’s cool, everyone misspells it 😉
