Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday November 1st, 2017

Nov 01 2017

My inlaws visited last night and like every time they visit, they talk about something being too expensive as I am buying some random domain for $2000.  “Regular” life and domain investing life don’t seem to go together real well.  When 5 minutes before spending $300 on an OK domain you make sure to put in your Perk code to save $30 cents.  But I guess good financial decisions are good financial decisions. Even down to saving 30 cents.  Since last night was Halloween I decide to go heavy on the tricks and the treats.

My treat was me carving pineapples instead of pumpkins and putting them all outside. It was supposed to be a joke but they turned out awesome and they smelled amazing when the candle started to heat the pineapple.  The kids in the neighborhood were equally impressed.  I said “did you see the pineapples?”  “Yes, I smell them” .

The joke was me spending all of dinner trying to convince my father in law that all the iPhones came with the picture hidden below in the phone..  That it was an inside joke for Steve Jobs who was a HUGE Joe Namath fan.  It actually was just a picture of Joe Namath’s hairy chest I made as my lock screen to see if I could bullshit him.  I had him for a few minutes but Google pretty much crushes any attempt at fooling anyone anymore.   But between the pineapple carvings and the hairy chest I turned a fairly mundane evening of giving out candy into some fun.  Here are today’s names, you have to click to see current price.

Quote of the Day:   “Well done is better than well said”  -Ben Franklin

Domain of the Day:    I see the work of people that do this on Reddit all the time. They take old films or photos and add color. Amazing work. It’s a real skill.  No bids

Namejet  and Sedo Names at Auction      Met reserve at $140.  U for United and Universal    A nice CVCV that could reach five figures     Great letters for the whole world   The last didn’t meet reserve. Not sure this one will either    Because we certainly don’t like the other two parties right now  News is the news right now   Reminds me of Portlandia   Like this one a lot.   Hard to forget   Just put up a definition of slander and bam!!! Millionaire   Double millionaire

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids   1998 Birthday.    Fly like a plane, fly like its cool, fly like the insect.   28 bids    It’s a trademarked term but it’s a product.   The domain has 100,000 plus backlinks. 1998 domain   I’m going to go ahead and say the forecast is good   $899 seems to pretty much be the price on the CHiPs containing Q,K,X,J,K every time I make a list.  They usually end a little higher   Upgrade name for a few companies All you need is time… cc At four figures   It doesn’t get any crazier than coders.   Like that one time they used a purple pen.  Crazy  The amount of 5N.coms have dropped off.  Only the best have been getting good bids   Evidently a lot of organizations share these acronym letters   Big enough keywords to overcome the dot co   Sounds like a rapper or an app

Godaddy Names With One or No Bids Blog about tech or blockchain Smooth, relaxing name. 20 million Google results The machines to do glucose and other home tests are getting cheaper and cheaper. Will be an app and a little add on in due time if its not already. One bidder Of course, I’d rather see You than U but no bids and solid marketing name for health or home/auto insurance company We’re all already members. No bids 1999 domain with no bids. Sounds like a bar. “You guys want to go have a beer at the Twisted Pickle?” Games sounds family friendly but the sticky moves it into another room If you’re all three you’ve done pretty well. $12 at press time If you are a lawn maintenance this may work. no bids It’s memorable. That’s a start 5L with no bids Most boring DJ name ever. ” DJ Bike in the house. This is how I roll” Not great value but a closeout it would be a good add to the portfolio IMO Forex has a good CPC. No bidders

I’m thinking that by the end of the day one of your haters will accuse you that your pineapple is actually a pumpkin in an elaborate Halloween costume! You should have used a “Twisted Pickle” for his nose though! 😉
