When it happened once I thought it was a fluke. But since then its happened many times. I make an offer on a domain and I get a sky high number. I number that’s unrealistic and I move on. Several years later that same name expires and I get it for next to nothing or at most 10% of the auction price. The next to nothing is if its a horticulture name, the 10% if it would serve other uses. Even more often I see the name at auction at Namejet. A domain investor decided to just put it up. Not getting back to old leads to try and make a deal, taking the easy road and putting it up for auction. 99% of the time I would have paid more than I did at the auction. It says two things. One, people don’t take the time to work old leads. Two, I’ve been doing so long (10 years) that I have had the person that owned a domain I wanted die. Twice
On another note. Konstantinos of onlinedomain says he would prefer domain blogs stay on topic. Good thing this blog has always been about the journey of myself, Aaron, Josh, and Travis. Our journey includes, domains, our family, our friends, our businesses, and our personal interest. They all interact and its what makes things interesting and entertaining. So we are right on topic every day. I guess I could post 40 articles on what crazy Mike Mann is up to but I think I’ll just talk about what I see and what I do. I’ll let readers decide if its worth their time to come by. Off to go spend some bitcoin on a VR massage while I 3D print some Weed. Here are today’s names, you have to click to see current price.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
