Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday October 18th, 2017

Oct 18 2017

Escrow.com

When it happened once I thought it was a fluke.  But since then its happened many times.  I make an offer on a domain and I get a sky high number.  I number that’s unrealistic and I move on.  Several years later that same name expires and I get it for next to nothing or at most 10% of the auction price.  The next to nothing is if its a horticulture name, the 10% if it would serve other uses. Even more often I see the name at auction at Namejet.   A domain investor decided to just put it up. Not getting back to old leads to try and make a deal,  taking the easy road and putting it up for auction.    99% of the time I would have paid more than I did at the auction.   It says two things.  One, people don’t take the time to work old leads.  Two, I’ve been doing so long (10 years)  that I have had the person that owned a domain I wanted die.  Twice

On another note.  Konstantinos of onlinedomain says he would prefer domain blogs stay on topic.  Good thing this blog has always been about the journey of myself, Aaron, Josh, and Travis.  Our journey includes, domains, our family, our friends, our businesses, and our personal interest.  They all interact and its what makes things interesting and entertaining.  So we are right on topic every day.  I guess I could post 40 articles on what crazy Mike Mann is up to but I think I’ll just talk about what I see and what I do. I’ll let readers decide if its worth their time to come by.  Off to go spend some bitcoin on a VR massage while I 3D print some Weed.  Here are today’s names, you have to click to see current price.

Quote of the Day:  “When a fellow says it ain’t the money but the principle of the thing, it’s the money” -Artemus Ward

Domain of the Day:   WeedWeed.com     Get twice as high

Namejet  and Sedo Names at Auction

VapingSupplies.com   Perfect name for online sales of everything vape related

TattooAcademy.com    Teach the art of tattoo.  Under $70 and met reserve

D45.com   NLL.com that’s met reserve.  40 bidders

Slipped.com   Great legal name.  A lot of money in slip and fall lawsuits.  Of course I am always on the wrong side

French.net   Bread I like, and for the most part people as well

CMTN.com    The Chinese are going to like it but these are great Western letters

11E.com   Looks at this price.  Nice

OnlineCoaching.com  I don’t think it will make reserve but its a very nice name

Reducers.com    I use them in plumbing all the time but every thing you connect uses reducers. 40 bidders. 1998 birthday

ContinuitySolutions.com     12 bidders at $70. 1998 birthday

Coin888.com  Get bitcoin AND China in one name

Oatmeal.net     Big enough keyword to overcome the dot net

BlockChainInsider.com   closes today and has a nice opening bid

Whitcombe.com  English name and therefore a lot of entities share it

Smeek.com   Nice little brand with a few bids

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

FeminineTouch.com   We all know that everything is better with this

EliteCoin.com  I saw this a week ago and its getting the bids I thought it would.  Can put anything in front of coin right now and sell it.

Frenzied.com   One of those names that gets bids but its a one off from the good form of the word.  That doesn’t seem to bother a lot of people.

FitForLess.com   Less than $10 a month?

CaseSolutions.com   Upgrade for quite a few companies

Travana.com   Was an online travel agency.   Has lots of history

4uo.com   All NLL have some value

FutureFresh.com    The goal of the food market is to get things to table fresher.  Good name for that issue

SellItOnline.com   Sounds like a 2007 name but is still relevant today

GoKaraoke.com    Sing like nobody is watching

420Press.com  Only one use here.   Canna news

IdahoFishing.com     Colorado gets all the press.  Idaho is the hidden gem

iTaxService.com   Online tax service with a hint of Apple

Godaddy Names With One or No Bids

HopOff.com A type of travel ticket. Hop On Hop Off. 1996

LoyalStock.com Not sure it has a ton of value but good brand for a variety of things

HortJob.com Canna is hort and there are a lot of grower positions right now

CordBlood.us Not a big .us fan but cord blood is being saved by many people now. Contains lots of stem cell and stem cell is the future of medicine IMO

LandRehab.com There’s a big push to restore land back to native

Guxon.com No bids on this 5L.com

Farm.ws Not saying buy it, just showing that there are no bids and the owner of .WS has ruined the string

TinyHomeUK.com Not sure if they’re doing tiny homes in the UK but I assume they are

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an emailI Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
