Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday August 14th, 2020

It was reported by eName that they sold the domain Just knowing the meaning of the number 8, the history of sales with 8, and the fact that this is the Holy Grail of domains for someone from China, and I know this was record setting. And it was

“Probably paid more than $50 million” is just a guess but Perfect Game is publicly traded so eventually its going to come out. I have no idea what the price is going to be but its going to be tens of millions. Look at the business model too. Vanity emails. Which sounds far fetched but with the population of China you can see why they said it could have 100 million users. 100 million times any amount of money pays for the domain several times over. So no matter what they paid they are going to crush it. Also on a side note, many people in the comments let us know they also have names that are similar for sale. Which ruins a good thread and is nothing but spam.

Quote of the Day: “Don’t pick a job that has great vacation time. Pick a job where you don’t need a vacation”

Domain of the Day: Love this one. Memorable and you know immediately its recipes and cooking Names at Auction or Available for Pickup I got 99 problems but dot io aint one Might as well get the pair Has 31,000 results at Github which is one of my tools to decide value. That’s at the very high end Lambo to me represents bitcoin I’m not even sure if we’re doing VR names anymore

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Action Can’t get a hotter keyword but its a dot net. The reserve is possible if its on the low end of the reserve range Some canna lovers may see flower here Taken in 11 extensions. Medical data analysis is a huge business and getting bigger every day Sounds boring As relevant as a name can get right now Has the most bids on the Namejet board today This might be one of the few private domains with a reserve that actually sells

Godaddy Domains With Bids since we’re talking numerics. This one has the biggest price and the most bids on the Godaddy board today. Solid name to talk startups Great letters and the repeating pattern. Could hit four figures Exudes service to me Credit cards, trading cards, business cards. So many cards The generic version of PigeonShit Getting a good price because its a super high CPC and probably the keywords they type in when looking for help As opposed to stay at home mail Uber means so much more than car sharing and food deliver DNA adjusted babies or the more likely home improvement Bids are based on keywords but they don’t make sense to me. “Doesn’t have Antivirus” NLL have held value for quite a number of years now Same shirt just more expensive Taken in 21 extensions. Have to make time for it I approve of this one Great keyword, OK tld Just have to decide what is going to be navigated through Good letters and will still probably end under $500 I think the glue is money 5L under $100 at press time Will be interesting because usually savings is personal
