You can and should never look back at the coulda woulda shoulda of your domain sales. But I would be lying if I said that every time is see a $50K plus sale of a NNNN.com I didn’t think backwards. In hindsight, which is always 20/20, I would have been better off just keeping my 20 NNNN.com and done nothing else. I would probably have close to a million dollars worth of names now. No more hours put in, just sit and let them cook. Do something else and come back. I’ve done well and made some money, but the time to value vs not selling any and waiting would heavily lean towards should not have sold.
I used to kid Elliot Silver that he could have done the same thing with 887.com. A name he sold many years ago. He always responded with “you can’t look back” type of quote but guess what? I can. Especially when 887 is one of the best NNN.com in the world. Some time in the recent past and maybe now, 887.com was probably close to a million dollar domain. I’m sure he’s made a lot more than that but he had to work for it. He could have done nothing and gotten similar results. He is like me. One, he needed the money to keep moving forward, two he had NO IDEA that numbers would become as valuable as they are. If we knew, obviously we wouldn’t have sold.
I do realize I wouldn’t have the names I have now without selling my numerics. I’m just not sure I have equaled the portfolio value of those names. Only time will tell. I do think most of my names will continue to grow in value and there will be over a million dollars in assets in due time. I also really loved the hustle of building the portfolio. It’s taught me a lot and enabled me to be a better domain investor. OK, enough BS. I should have held. Here are today’s domains. Hope you find a good one. Click to see the latest price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
At one time had 400 NNNN.com and many great NNN.com.
I managed to keep some NNNN.com so not all is lost
The only thing you lost is your identity and your name
DO NOT go to 887.com !
It said my computer is now infected with Spyware and that my accounts are now being hacked.
Also said if I leave the page my computer would be “seized”.
I shut my computer down to leave the page.
I logged back on and my computer was not “seized”.
Hopefully this was a bogus threat.
