Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday June 1st , 2018

You can and should never look back at the coulda woulda shoulda of your domain sales. But I would be lying if I said that every time is see a $50K plus sale of a I didn’t think backwards.   In hindsight, which is always 20/20, I would have been better off just keeping my 20 and done nothing else.  I would probably have close to a million dollars worth of names now.   No more hours put in, just sit and let them cook.  Do something else and come back.  I’ve done well and made some money, but the time to value vs not selling any and waiting would heavily lean towards should not have sold.

I used to kid Elliot Silver that he could have done the same thing with A name he sold many years ago.  He always responded with “you can’t look back” type of quote but guess what? I can.  Especially when 887 is one of the best in the world.  Some time in the recent past and maybe now, was probably close to a million dollar domain.  I’m sure he’s made a lot more than that but he had to work for it.  He could have done nothing and gotten similar results.  He is like me.  One, he needed the money to keep moving forward, two he had NO IDEA that numbers would become as valuable as they are.  If we knew, obviously we wouldn’t have sold.

I do realize I wouldn’t have the names I have now without selling my numerics.  I’m just not sure I have equaled the portfolio value of those names.  Only time will tell.  I do think most of my names will continue to grow in value and there will be over a million dollars in assets in due time.  I also really loved the hustle of building the portfolio.  It’s taught me a lot and enabled me to be a better domain investor.  OK, enough BS.  I should have held.  Here are today’s domains.  Hope you find a good one. Quote of the Day:  A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd” — Max Lucado

Domain of the Day:     One bidder on the blockchain name

Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction  I really think this could hit reserve.  Makes me sick because I sold tons of these for $3K but life moves on    Has a pretty reasonable reserve so I think this one is going to sell  Typo of the popular   Gets traffic    Handyman or some other service company    Might be the first four figure biz in a while   A lot of uses in the sciences   Met reserve at $72

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids from 1999   All consonants and into four figures now.  1999 as well   Cool looking     you think canna and bitcoin is big?  Its peanuts compared to the health care business  I figured some bikers would like this one  Bidders love it, Godaddy loves it, $3k here we come  Can’t go wrong with bio right now   There are tens of thousands of couples that live this   I think it was 20 questions but why get bogged down in the details  Nice  Vowel gives the discount

Godaddy Names With One or NO Bids Not a bad marketing name for $12   Bitcoins and .capital go together pretty well.  One bidder at $20    TV’s, computers, and other tech products are all HD ready  Sounds like a real thing.  A healthy popsicle  Sounds like a type of shot or some sort of alcohol.  No bids  Alan, here you go  No bids.  I like it because it has men in it.  Not sure if we’e allowed to support men right now though Shows that .ws is done.  Even horse has no value, no bidders  Only one bidder.  Guarantee there will be at least 8 more  No bidders.  There is plenty of this right now Marketing name for rain barrels or water conservation of some sort  Anything that keeps something cold. No bids

  1. At one time had 400 and many great

I managed to keep some so not all is lost

  2. DO NOT go to !

It said my computer is now infected with Spyware and that my accounts are now being hacked.

Also said if I leave the page my computer would be “seized”.

I shut my computer down to leave the page.

I logged back on and my computer was not “seized”.

Hopefully this was a bogus threat.
