You know I like buy and sell posts that have real names with real sales. Or at least names and prices. I have no idea if they are real.  But its a heck of a lot more fun to read than “a name for some price”.  Joshua Schoen had a sales and pickup list yesterday if you’re interested in reading another person’s list.

And I talked to a few “larger” domain investors yesterday and they like me, had a big increase in Afternic sales in 2018. To the point where we agreed that Afternic changed the game in our sales.  Being in the Godaddy search program just makes it so easy for people to buy names. And they did.  It’s become the number one thing you do when you buy a name.

And so about the short list today.  Not sure if there just weren’t any good names or I was tired from loading hundreds of Christmas trees on to cars.  It’s the time of year where I have three seasons colliding.  Regular tree sales, Christmas sales, and snow and salt.  Add in end of year and it gets a bit hectic.  But its all over soon and I can move into planning and domains again. And a little rest. Kind of rest.  Found out I got in to the Berlin marathon and I turn 50 this year so I want to make it special.  Domain of the Day: OnEmile.com      This shows the importance of proper Camel Casing.  The domain is OneMile but it displayed on my list this one.  I like OneMile.com better

FreshShelf.com    A great brand the exudes healthy and of course fresh. Two things most people are looking for.  Getting close to reserve

OpenCouples.com   Swinger site ready and waiting. No bidders

NameWho.com  Price is super cheap now since who is took a big hit lately

Tegia.com  comes down to the reserve. Like the name a lot though

DataHat.com   No bids.  Like the brand.   Like the price

NoHope.com  1996 birthday.  A negative name but could be turned around

BareBottom.com  I have an innocent mind.  I think of the Coppertone ad when I see this name

AWP.net  Another nice LLL.net expiring.  This is one I would actually buy. I generally just leave .nets alone

qr-code.com   QR codes and code makers are still in practical use

LWGN.com   Great letters.  These have been going for a lot less with the Chinese out of the game

RockVault.com   Sounds like something secure

CryptoBusiness.com   I figured this would do well.  And it is. Just not as much as it would have last year

Drabe.com   5L with two bidders

HighPotency.com   gotta get the good stuff

FS33.com  I love these.  Means something in Chinese I have no idea what but its desired and expensive

HomeDecorCenter.com   Gets good traffic.  Home decor = Billions

CannaCorp.com  We talk about these types of names on Sherpa on Monday

Tingl.com   Funny how in 2007 these were used because they could be hand regged.  Now they are desired

Bitzio.com  A bitcoin name. Doesn’t mean what it used to

Enerplex.com  1999 energy name

PlumbingLeads.com   you know something is expensive(and profitable)  if you get a lot of money for just getting a lead
