Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday September 14th , 2018

I still don’t understand why someone that owns a domain deserves privacy. I can’t own my home in the US under privacy.  Well I can, I just have to form a company or a shell company if I want to hide it.  I can do it for domains pretty easily as well.  I would think you would much rather want to know who is responsible for content that people put up in front of billions of people than who owns a home.   Of course I am biased because I am trying to buy names and its pretty much impossible to find the owner of a name if they don’t have a contact form on their site.  I just don’t get it.  Can anyone state a case for privacy?

Also, I caved like a Florida sink hole on Z95.  Accepted $3900.  Less than 12 hours after writing a post on how I sell too cheap.  But I did well, I can put it in the kitty to buy a good name.  Or a new iPhone, or a ticket to Europe, or a good name.  Here are today’s names. Click through to see the current price

Quote of the Day: “I instantly realized that everything in my life that I’d thought was unfixable was totally fixable – except for having just jumped.” – Ken Baldwin, after jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.

Domain of the Day:      I knew it would be a top name even a week ago when it went up.  Positive and good for so many things

Namejet and Sedo Names  39 bidders. Something something Interactive Entertainment  21 bidders.  Another nice   Owner says he’s had some good offers in the past but trying his luck at the Crypto Sedo auction.  Crypto has gone dot com first, dot io second  Getting some great bids.  May actually hit reserve  I like this one a lot.  But as a security name not a wrist watch   Getting value because the popularity of the site   Met reserve at $10K.  That’s about where we were 4 years ago Could be the first name in the Sedo crypto auction to meet reserve  I take that back.  This has already met reserve  And this one.  Man, I really didn’t look very closely

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids   1997 domain.  I’m going to try and buy this one.  I likey   Upgrade name for dozens of entities   My Native American name  Fitness name all the way   Buying lots of backlinks and history for four figures  Great canna name but really anything hydroponic  A Dutch television program and also a type of Rhododendron but I think the Dutch part is worth more   I can already see it on the corner canna shop  Already sounds like a HGTV show  For when you want to Dox someone

Godaddy Domains With No Bids Covers the two most popular alternative energies  Easy to remember brand and only one bidder.  Godaddy values it at $3400  Because some people just don’t like Florida  Two short, memorable, easy to spell words.  That usually makes a good brand. No bids

  1. Wow! I always read your Quote of the Day and this one was a real conversation stopper! I immediately went to find out more about Ken Baldwin (as he obviously survived his jump off the Golden Gate bridge). A wonderful and inspirational follow-up story, thank you for quoting him!

Now back to reading your domain listings…
