Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, September 20th, 2019

Escrow.com

This is about as good a summary of domains as there is. To think there is an absolute in this industry would be wrong. There is a lot of strategy and “rules” that will lead to good domain investments but there is an entire world of just outside the fringe that can lead to good profits and losses. I consider Rick Schwartz one of the best domain investors of all time but of the names he’s purchased in the last 7 years how much money has he made? His strategy is solid. Is absolute. Does it work if you buy the domain today? Media Options and Drew Rosener have proven you can make good money with today’s buys. Same with Michael Cyger. And yes, all these people are dot coms guys. But they will be the first to say MOST DOT COMS ARE NOT REAL VALUABLE. But a ton of them are. MOST NEW Gs ARE NOT REAL VALUABLE. But a few of them are. Those that are successful acknowledge this and can tell the difference.

Domain of the Day: SSS.net Can’t say I’ve seen a triple repeater, dot com or dot net in years

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. 1. In practical terms, as it relates to Dunn’s maxim, especially on the NewGTLDs, is akin to saying: “All lottery plays do not miss, sometimes someone wins”, yes that’s true; whereas, what Schwartz teaches in his doctrine, is that .Coms tend to be investable, as he simultaneously, admonishes what he calls “Pigeon shit”, so taken together, there’s a huge chasm between those two philosophies.

Where Dunn is right, and he is on some points, it’s acknowledged, and accepted, by Schwartz.
