Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday April 20th, 2020

A couple things to start off the week. One. I think we’ve clearly established that the biggest trend around the world is now gardening. I’ve seen fantastic gardens from Andrew Rosener, Morgan Linton, and dozens of other domain investors that want to grow more of their own food and in general add plants to their environment. On Saturday alone we sold a whole greenhouse of vegetables and herbs and 280 cubic yards of mulch. Record numbers. And we did it all with a drive through service and order pick up. All thanks to DSAS’s Travis and his amazing site building skills. Even he was impressed in the amount of orders doubling every day as he build and improves the site.

Second. I thought Morgan Linton’s Bread Pudding article was great. It’s fun and different. Domain Investing can be stale as F and mixing it up a little is refreshing. We bloggers owe nothing to anyone. Not one single one of you pay to read our articles. When I go to a site and pay nothing for their time I am a leach. I expect nothing. I didn’t give anything but my time and it was a decision I made. I am thankful to their advertisers. They enable the writers to do what they do. I am the merely the eyeballs the advertisers are hoping to reach and that’s my only role. To think that what I like or don’t like represents the best thing to write about is naive. So kudos to Morgan and piss off to anyone that criticized what he did because they don’t like that he went off topic. If you don’t like what he wrote I’m sure he’ll give you 150% refund to what you paid him.

Quote of the Day: “I used to think the world was broken down by tribes,’ I said. ‘By Black and White. By Indian and White. But I know this isn’t true. The world is only broken into two tribes: the people who are assholes and the people who are not.” – Sherman Alexie

Domain of the Day: Pretty timely name. As high as this one I can’t imagine the price if it had an R at the end Names at Auction or Dropping Last chance to get your sea weed big keyword and an extension that works with it People love consistency. Daily reports reflect that I would think a two letter dot vc would have some pretty good value. We’re about to find out Animal Crossing name? I don’t play so I actually have no idea what Animal crossing is

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Auction Love the name but the reserve wastes our time. Save it for the end user Ends in the great C 1998 birthday. At least it will sound safe Definitely a pattern. I think this increases in value even though its not your traditional keyword Big keywords. Taken in pretty much every extension Not sure the next generation uses the word cool but I still like the brand A whole site built on props Gets 8000 visits a month. About to hit reserve Remote

Godaddy Domains With Bids Hard tomato juice is the next big thing Not sure if I’m wasting my time with these but one of the biggest markets of all types of domains. But generally just flipping, not endusers Locks and other gadgets that work with your doors A character on Star Trek and in general a nice 5L brand A legendary Chicago restaurant. I ate there many times. Roku typo is the price driver Cute medical name Sounds like the name of the newest Panda at the zoo Cat name all the way Gonna be a lot of camo in this line Bees or study of people needing teams Big data Taken in 26 other extensions Taken in 22. People love sites that do the research for them. Its easier to start the search with someone’s opinion on what’s best Did you get your refill of Conexa filled? did the escort business get paycheck protection ? I like it as a virtual doc Not as good as the domain of the day but has same meaning Rehab center all the way We know it’s going to be about music. The rest is open Means “order” in Italian We still doing ville names? Don’t hear much about FarmVille anymore
