Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday August 17th, 2020

I have been moving over my names over to Dan lately. I put them all on Afternic and Dan at the same price. I like Dan over the other platforms because the interface is nice and the payment plans are nice. The ONLY thing I see I don’t like is the inability to offer 3 year payment plans AND a make offer. Right now its BIN, 12 month payment and make offer or 35 month payment plan and BIN. Other than that its simple and nice. Better than the landing pages I’m using. In my opinion its a must to have most of your names on Afternic to get in the registration path.

I’ve been adding 10 names a day for a week. Having the visits on the page is one of the major reasons I like having it on Dan. I can add my Google analytics but its so much easier to just go to the names and see how they did. No sales or offers but its early. We’ll see how it goes. I only sold a few last year through non Afternic sites so I’ve set the bar low. Of course the names I did sell were pretty nice. Travis has a script built that I can eventually just toggle which lander we want to put it on between the various Afternic, Dan, Efty, etc.. I was getting the names up and ready on Dan so that when I switch to his script the names will be in the Dan system and will land when point them there.

Also there will be a new Domain Sherpa up. I’m not one of the hot new guys like but I still enjoy being on the show. I’ll do it until I’m no longer asked. : )

Quote of the Day: “If you set your goals ridiculously high and it’s a failure, you will fail above everyone else’s success.” — James Cameron

Domain of the Day: Top price and top bids on the board today. Going to see what the wholesale value of NNNN.coms with no 4 are today Names at Auction or Available for Pickup Love this one. Short and one word. “you Zig and we Zag” Crypto and .io are good friends Held in a lot of TLDs and the dot com want $50K plus. Leaves some value here in the .io I see this as in “keeping a tally” The goal of many golfers. Not this one. Mine is par plus 20

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Action 26 years old. Female Hebrew name. Taken in 18 other extensions Another one here. Most likely the same person on these two. Also short for Neiman Marcus if that’s still around A bit generic and boring but LED has given lighting a comeback One of the better to expire the entire year double C for the win This one is going to fly and These get really really good traffic. Not sure of values though. I’ll learn more here

Godaddy Domains With Bids Two nice CCC.coms I’ve always been a fan but I’ve made that pretty clear over the years The kind of positive mantra that makes great marketing campaign It worked for Kabbage Some may like this but I think end users would actually move towards an alt tld Sounds like a fashion line Love the name but there is a company that uses the generic 21 years old and taken in 19 extensions 1.2 million backlinks and their juice have this one at multiple thousands A bit long and redundant for me but has some value Huge business, peaking now. at 2-3% this has value 23 years old and taken in 27 extensions. That’s enough for a few bids 1993 birthday 48 other extensions are taken for this one. Nickname for Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers
