Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday January 14th, 2019

Many of you already know but some of you might not.  One of the partners here at DSAD, Josh, is a paramedic, EMT, (although I think he has a fancier title than that).   He literally saves lives for a living.  Although he isn’t a doctor I bet he’s saved as many lives as some doctors.  Every time I talk to him I can tell he loves his job. Most people don’t like talking about work once they’re home but Josh loves talking shop if you ask.   I remember a NamesCon when he sat down and talked for an entire evening with the late Lonnie Borck about being a paramedic. Lonnie was a volunteer paramedic for the Hatzolah of Baltimore, an emergency service staffed by members of the Jewish faith.  He was not  just a volunteer but pretty much oversaw the operation that in their words “Our response team consists of 8 Paramedics and 22 EMTs. As soon as the call goes out, the two closest units respond immediately in private vehicles with medical equipment. Arriving within minutes, they form a critical link in the chain of survival

I absolutely loved listening to those two share stories.  No names so HIPPA laws didn’t come into play.  Hours and hours of stories and you could see the bond those two had and how much good they both had done over the years.  He wasn’t talking shop about domains, the entire evening was stories of helping people. Two amazing people and every NamesCon I think of the loss of Lonnie.  Taken from us too soon.  I honestly barely knew him but I learned enough about him in those three hours to know that he deeply cared about others. And not a word about domain investing.  He and Josh both love their work and I know that they would do it for no pay.  Because Lonnie did it for no pay.  He volunteered his time. He loved helping people in need.  I know Josh would do the same but fortunately for all of us we don’t have to have him make that choice.

This is what you are going to get at NamesCon.  You are going to get to know the “other” lives of people that are in domain investing.  If you don’t like people and exchanging stories then I suggest you stay home. If you’re merely there to learn how to be a better domain investor I’m sure you’re going to get a few tips and hints at the conference.  But there will TONS of helpful hints and tricks hidden in the stories that everyone shares.  It’s amazing what you will learn when people just start talking. Let them talk about what they love and the information pours out.  It may not be domain investing info but it will be something that makes you richer in one way or another.   Here are today’s names.  Click through to see the current price and to fund this daily list

Quote of the Day:  My ambition is handicapped by laziness” – Charles Bukowski

Domain of the Day:   Zomo.com     Beautiful CVCV.  Price is getting up towards end user pricing but I’m actually not sure what is wholesale and what is enduser any more

Namejet, Sedo, and other Names Up for Auction

LoanBlock.com   At $1.   Crypto loan domains.   People that are crypto rich are looking for ways to use their wealth .  Or could be the use of blockchain for traditional loans

SCEC.com   Some will say pronounceable.  I say its not but great letters nonetheless

IMNO.com    Great letters here.  I Am No

Jealous.com   Love the name.  Not a fan of the reserve

Deskmates.com  Met reserve.   Can’t wait to see how it helps me in my office

ThisMuch.com   “You know how much I care”

Defend.org   Solid legal name.  Reserve is fair……meaning not end user pricing

Uoka.com  Looks Hawaiian

Godaddy Domains With Multiple Bids

InternetThings.com    I like it better than InternetOfThings because its shorter and not so stupid sounding

IOTPlatforms.com   Speaking of IOT

FingerBoarding.com  Has to be one of the stupidest things I’ve seen.  Its skateboarding with your finger and there are actually National championships for it.

BeautyFood.com    Good food can definitely make you more beautiful

SlickRick.com   La di Da di.  We like to party.  But that was more about Doug E. Fresh on that track

TheMouse.com    So many uses from the rodent to the things you move your curser with

SnoreRelief.com        SnoringRelief.com    Ask Zyppah if there is any money in snoring relief.

BlueCardinal.com  Memorable because cardinals are red

LifeInBox.com  Getting a few bids.   Probably just toothpaste and toilet paper in it

SampleRoom.com  I see it as a stitch fix type company.  Of course there are other possible uses

PennyForYourThoughts.com  Most people know the saying.  We have a radio show with the names.  Yes, its long and I would also want PFYT.com if possible

AOIA.com  Great letters.  A for Association or Alliance

DrDab.com  I think it will go the canna direction over the dance

HeaterStore.com  I probably don’t represent everyone but I buy one or two heaters every year.  And that’s not counting the ones I buy for my shops and greenhouses that we add each year

TripleCash.com  Not sure what it would be used for but I feel like I’m going to get more money from it than the double cash or cash option

Weddings101.com  More of a guide than a company IMO

Johio.com  Nice 5L.com and a few people have this as a first name

InPassing.com Obituary or just a web site name

Godaddy Domains With One or No Bids

RunnersStop.com  Someone likes this. Has a bid at $12

DFirst.com  “You never forget D first”

StrongAnalytics.com  Either digging real deep for the best data or it is owned by Adam Strong

Biging.com  I know not a word but I like the size of this one

RedHenry.com Means nothing but that’s OK because its too easy to spell words and memorable. And that’s what a brand is.   Not going to get many offers.  Have to present it and hope someone else thinks the same

HydroRanch.com  Sounds like a canna grower which generally uses hydroponics

Crypdose.com  I’m not a buyer on any crypto names BUT I like the play on crypto here. Might be worth a shot at $12

HolidayVR.com  Holiday is vacation in Europe.  Vacation VR.  Take a vacation without leaving your home

Everfield.com    smooth name.  exudes long lasting
