Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday July 16th , 2018

Jul 16 2018

So I did a little horse trading with my domains this weekend.   I decided to cut my losses on my numerics and put some up for auction with no reserve on Godaddy.   Just let them run through the 7 day auction. I lost money on the names but what’s done is done and I move forward.   I actually forgot I was auctioning them and only put one on my list.  Sold a total of 7 6N.coms.  All with no zeros or 4s and they sold everywhere from $41 to $160.  I also had one that started with 666 that went for $193.  I had a total of around $600.  I ended up spending them money on two dot com names.  One at Godaddy and one at Namejet

I outbid Uniregistry and bought ESMN for $499.   I have a lot of LLLL.coms and add a few each month to use as a store of value.  I don’t sell a lot but enough to provide cash flow and I really don’t feel they will drop in value if I buy good Western letters.  So I continue to add if I can get a decent price.

I also bought Compressa at Godaddy for $43.  We use the word in the plant world to describe “compact” things.  I thought it was a great brand and exudes “making smaller”   $43 was a no brainer and while I don’t get caught up in the “can you believe what a great deal” thing because everyone tells me that about bad names, I was very happy with the price.  All in all I had about $50 left over which I invested in a Subway gift card for later.

Quote of the Day: “The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.” – Bertrand Russell

Domain of the Day:      No bids.  Sounds like an official bank.  They don’t have to know you paid $20 for the name

Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction   Brand that could be used for several different thing.  But probably will sell Blue Pitbulls Surprised this doesn’t have a bid with medical tourism being such a big industry. Especially for Americans   Getting close to reserve.  Going to be a nice flip from $2500 purchase a few years ago. Uniregistry likes it   Most bids on the Namejet board today Would be a very good buy under $1K  For you block chain lovers.  Or just people that like chains  Its a dot net but a pretty big keyword   Great name for something most women go through and are always looking for more info on   fantastic name but the reserve is scaring people away   I for International.  Closes today

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids   22 years old.    Elite is a popular naming convention  Translated from UK to American.  New Mother  Secure online storage but could be a rental unit name as well    You know I like 5L.coms   This is a good example of the pattern I like   We still doing the old switch s to Z thing? continue to hold strong.  Not rising but not dropping much either    English footballer gets top price on the board today  HK = Hong Kong  Getting action as a BlockChain name   GD values it but I spent over 30 seconds trying to decide is it Clubee or Club EE

Godaddy Names With One or NO Bids  Great name for a pond installation and maintenance company.  Already companies named this   Hemp will be legal soon in my opinion.    Buy the rumor sell the news  Perfect name for a sports blog or site  Not a bad sounding brand for $12. No bids  They do organic in London too.  No bids at $12  I would think you would do OK buying a for under $25  Venture Capital, golf, ….that’s all I got  Godaddy says this is the most valuable name on the board today.  Nobody agrees. No one guy  Car wrapping service.  And nobody paints their commercial vehicles any more One bidder at $12
