I’m going to have to agree with a lot of people in that I’m seeing double the number of offers I usually see on my domains. Unfortunately none of them are good offers. 25% are mentioning COVID in the responses and how times are tough. I lower it a little but really just much desire for me to sell names right now unless I get a good price. I think we’re seeing how important domain are in these times and in the times ahead. Not interested in selling an asset that is start to peak. I don’t need the cash and they are only growing in value. So I wait.
Am I buying? I am but honestly I’ve been so busy with the nursery that I spend quite a bit of time writing this list, place my bids and what happens, happens. What has been happening is I am getting outbid on every name. I’ve even raised my morning bids a bit and still not getting any. In order to get a name I’m going to have to either really like a name and bid up or realize that it costs more to acquire expiry names. I’ve done neither the last few weeks. But spending money has never been a problem and when the time comes I’ll pull the trigger. I’ve just had three or four more zeros to worry about at the nursery lately. And life is about realizing priorities

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
I can’t help but think even you wrote Sweety.com instead of Sweety.io
That’s what most people automatically do with the extensions!
Tom,
There is definitely truth to that. But given that I do that section last and have typed out 100s of dot com before that in the previous hours, I do have a little bit more
of an ingrained thing going than the average person
Nice List. Appreciate your hard work. Thanks
Thank you Ashraf
