Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday April 5th, 2020

I’m going to have to agree with a lot of people in that I’m seeing double the number of offers I usually see on my domains. Unfortunately none of them are good offers. 25% are mentioning COVID in the responses and how times are tough. I lower it a little but really just much desire for me to sell names right now unless I get a good price. I think we’re seeing how important domain are in these times and in the times ahead. Not interested in selling an asset that is start to peak. I don’t need the cash and they are only growing in value. So I wait.

Am I buying? I am but honestly I’ve been so busy with the nursery that I spend quite a bit of time writing this list, place my bids and what happens, happens. What has been happening is I am getting outbid on every name. I’ve even raised my morning bids a bit and still not getting any. In order to get a name I’m going to have to either really like a name and bid up or realize that it costs more to acquire expiry names. I’ve done neither the last few weeks. But spending money has never been a problem and when the time comes I’ll pull the trigger. I’ve just had three or four more zeros to worry about at the nursery lately. And life is about realizing priorities

Domain of the Day: Registered in 29 other extensions but not very much action

Quote of the Day:Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day. Names at Auction or Dropping A lot of companies look to this info to guide raises and bonuses What every southern woman over 60 calls me and then put down the seat Text in pretty much any tld has some value

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Auction Its not quite DigitalTown but its a great domain Liked the names. Owned it for a few weeks I think its worth the reserve 22 years old and great letters Also 22 years old and no reserve Great solar power marketing name Pretty sure Grey Goose would have something to say here Sedo is coming back with another Big Auction. This is my early favorite Met reserve at $8K A game so it gets huge traffic of people looking for it

Godaddy Domains With Bids Top number of bids on the GD board today. Still want to one OneMedia as well Love the name but would stay away from fundraising stuff Two 3s, Two 9s mid five figures Same thing here. Love the name but would want 1Print The great store of value over the last 5 years Fashion or personality My favorite name on the list in the price to value ratio Nice little name for anything car related. Registered in 7 other extensions Because eventually we will be able to take trips again and we’ll fly to get there I can see this on one of those “we’re going to help you” type commercials The brother of Boss Hog? GD values this over $7K which is the high end of their values Could be used for a lot of things. I think of farts I don’t like names with diet in the name but its a big ass industry Memorable and they’ll figure out the spelling Not a bad name for $20 ( at press time) would be pretty good if you could double pump on the tongue and get your vitamins I’d be long any good food name if its priced right There is so much money in doing things people don’t like. Handling garbage is one of them. Porta potties is another Is Next The kind of .net I think may have value. Good one word brands 18 years old and registered in 11 other extensions. Sounds Italian but not sure it is Keep it classy Godaddy. Bet your new CEO is proud you’re selling this one Upgrade name for a few companies Food or kitty

  1. I can’t help but think even you wrote instead of
That’s what most people automatically do with the extensions!

    1. Tom,

There is definitely truth to that. But given that I do that section last and have typed out 100s of dot com before that in the previous hours, I do have a little bit more
of an ingrained thing going than the average person
