Don’t. Don’t buy Libra domains. I repeat. Don’t. If you want to go to the casino, go to the casino. But not’s dress up your crapshoot as domain investing. Josh’s analogy of his domains being like pumpkins was fantastic. He is one of the best pumpkin buyers I know. He pretends like his pumpkins are just pumpkins but he has the sales experience to know what names have a better chance of selling. But its broad. Because he has zero idea which names will sell. The difference between him and most domain investors is he knows it and admits it.
If I took your top 100 domains and ask you which 10 names will sell first you will most likely be wrong. Wrong because its not just quality of name but the price you put it at. Wrong because you are sitting and waiting for the whole world. A world full of people that have crazy ideas and names that they want to call their business. They are not you. What you think is awesome they don’t like and what you think is an OK name is the name of their dreams. After the top, premier names, don’t pretend like you know what will sell.
But I can tell you what WON’T sell. That’s Facebook’s Libra names. For every sale you hear will be 10,000 other names that won’t. The one that sells probably won’t be yours.
On a completely different note. After traveling around the world the last year I have noticed that half of the other visitors are from China, Korea, or Japan. That was not the case 10 years ago. If I have vacation rental property or anything related to tourism I absolutely make sure that I have my place friendly to those countries. If not you’re missing a huge market.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
