Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday July 7th, 2019

A domain investor the other day asked me if I was Jewish.  I asked why they asked and what made them think I was.   They said it was because I was friends with all Jewish domain investors.  I actually never thought but now that he mentioned it there is definitely a high percentage of successful domain investors are Jewish.  And now that they mention it, some of my favorite people in the industry are.  Despite our differences in faith my friends are my friends because of who they are as people.  We all have the same work ethic, love of family, and morality.   We may not go to the same Temple or Church but we are headed in the same direction.  I’m not sure how a religion would make you a better domain investor but there have been stereotypes with those of the Jewish faith and their professions.  Never heard of the Jewish domain investor stereotype until now.  There are certainly those that have closer relationships because of their faith but I don’t think that is a requirement.  As I’ve said many times, I don’t care what guides a person through life as long as its a positive guide.  And those I am friends with all have a positive guide in one way or another.  And whatever that guidance is, has made them into wonderful, hard working, intelligent people.  That’s all that’s required in domain investing as far as I’m concerned.   Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on

Domain of the Day:    Be careful with these. Trust me I know.   This one won’t go cheap

Quote of the Day:   Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace.” –Randy Armstrong

Namejet, Sedo, Snap, and other Names Up for Auction   Looks like someone is giving up on their keyword.orgs. Great keywords but reserve is low  Another one here   I would deposit a lot of cherry   20 year old generic.   Start with the basics   Restaurant or cooking show  Sounds like a mountaineering brand   Reserve under $1000.  Yeah, looks a lot like barf    N for network or TN for Tennessee    One of my favorite Ready for the World Songs     Not quite as tough sounding as Lone Wolf  Delivery or Fashion    Added another bid.  Special name    People will chase anything  Sounds like an English word but actually means “I Search” in Spanish.  But I think it would make a good brand for $79   No bids.  Sounds like a romance novel or blog

Godaddy Domains With Multiple Bids  I have no idea why it has the most bids on the Godaddy board today and is this high of price.  I am gonna learn something today   I think this name is going to kill it.  100% going to be in patch form soon if not already  Sounds like a cemetery or dog boarding  “ster” names aren’t as popular as they were back in the 2000s but they still are used  Vacation videos or a little gadget that keeps your visor organized.  Or maybe not   Godaddy likes it.  I’m in the it’s OK category  Upgrade name for a few places.  Every town has companies that are fencing specialist  Has a dash but all the shops in the airport trump the dash    20 years old.  I think it went from a search name to a big data name over the 20 years   Don’t see many that end in C end under $300   Already available in Colorado and Washington  Nothing stronger than hope  Free has been used in marketing since marketing began.  A lot of money in Free   Nice little for under $300. My guess is it finished around $700   Communication name     Name, a city, and short  But will you do it for $5?  I’ve had good luck selling two word names that are easy to spell and short  May cause runny nose, loose stools, bleeding from the ears, and in some cases vertigo or death

  1. So are you jewish?
The sole reason many Jewish people are succesfull domainers and business people is because they are smart .
They have faith in themselves .
Nobody needs a religion for anything ,if you dont know the difference between good and bad and not caring about other people you lack Empathy .
