Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday June 16th, 2019

I saw and interesting landing page yesterday when checking on a name that a person wanted put on the daily list.  The name is   Smart domainers will forward their
domains to their auctions but usually they keep it on the landing page and nobody knows that its at auction.  Looks like Flippa has a hybrid landing page that lets someone know that it is for sale
or auction and can put a bid in, and a generic description of why its a good domain.  I’m not sure how effective it is, but I do know that if I landed on it I would be more inclined to buy the
name than if it just said  “This domain is for sale”.   Of course you still have to go through the signup.  Which leaves me out of all bidding because they changed everyone’s accounts and I have never EVER gotten an email from them other than a sales list.  No emails for password reset.  Domain verification.  Anything that requires a response email to me never makes it through.  I’m sure I could send in a help email but I’ve been too lazy or don’t care enough to fix my problem.  That being said the lander is a good idea.
Speaking of auctions.  I had an auction on Godaddy which was at a few thousand dollars.  Then the name gets sold on Afternic for $7800 which is what I had my BIN set at.  At first I thought “Oh Shit” I won’t be able to fulfill my auction status. Then I realized that Afternic IS Godaddy so its essentially like hitting the BIN button on an auction.  Turns out Godaddy felt the same way and treated it the same way.   Making me only pay the auction commission not Afternic.   I really think that a listing should actually have the Afternic BIN on the auction to let people know they can end the auction and buy the name right away.  Taking away the step of having them search.  I think it would lead to more sales and higher prices on some names.  Lets see if they read this and add that in.
Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on

  1. I like the idea with the BIN Shane. I agree that it would likely increase sale prices.
