Evidently I didn’t get BeeHouse.net . If you don’t pay at Dynadot in 48 hours then they throw the name back. I didn’t pay. I thought me card was on file but evidently it was 3 deep so it didn’t get charged. 48 hours to me is a pretty quick time period. My emails are so deep at the nursery I missed it but its not a big loss. I have the dot com and that’s what matters.
I’m not usually the kind of person that gets caught up in the logo before I have the product and business set up. That’s for the dreamers who usually print T-shirts and then abandon the business. BUT I couldn’t resist getting some hats and shirts out for BeeHouse. The customers at the nursery love it so I am going to have a full run of hats and shirts before I even have honey. It may pay for the production. Here’s the logo. We have some a few variations of it with the honey drop yellow and a few other things but all of them have sold well and I don’t even have honey yet :0 . I’ll give away a few hats in due time.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
re: logo. what about “o” in the shape of a honeycomb?
I got suspended from bidding at Dynadot for non-payment…multiple times. For whatever reason I didn’t have my card on auto-pay. I was lazy and never on top of things. It’s embarrassing being ‘that guy’ who doesn’t pay. The good news is these were low value auctions not hundreds or thousands. Then I forgot again and was suspended for several months. The thing is it never happened on other platforms, except once at Godaddy after payment didn’t go through. I was devastated because I worked through the concept as the name was expiring, and I made a logo for it right after winning the auction like you did here with beehouse. I don’t plan to develop names I buy (they only remain ideas) since I’m busy with other things, but this application seemed relatively straightforward. I called Godaddy right away but the lower bidder already purchased it, and I paid the ‘$15 shame on me for being a deadbeat’ fee.
Now I keep a small diary. Part of the problem is forgetting to enter reminders on the phone, or not setting alarms right. A diary is much simpler, but I still use the phone for reminders and alarms for auctions unless proxy bidding.
That’s great. How’d / where’d you design it? Count me in for a shirt, I’ll pay shipping too.
Maybe it’s just me, but I wish the bee on your logo would be friendlier. Currently, it’s like “Warning! Bees here” 😀
I should have said “Caution”
I think your best recent pickup is definitely the solar homes domain. Had my eye on that too from the newsletter but procrastinated. Nice one Shane!
