Believe it or not I used to write comedy for extra money. I wrote for my blog and then got some side work from that writing ad scripts or short scenes. Occasionally an article for a large site that wanted it written in a funnier way than a “normal” way. Some was much better than others. Nothing has ever made me much money and half never sees the light of day, but occasionally skits or things would make it to video. I did a couple things for VH-1 Best Week Ever. One of the worst things I wrote was a song. I wrote for a company I was an investor in called Wallstrip. It was a play on the song Dick in a Box but was about Jack in the Box restaurant. Howard Lindzon is a great guy, an even better investor, but damn is he a horrible singer. Take a look at one of my songs. And yes I am aware it is terrible but the results were pretty good.
