Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday July 30th, 2020

So my wife and I are looking for houses in Boone, North Carolina. I lived in Mint Hill North Carolina for 8 years and we used to go to a cabin in mountains for vacation. We didn’t take very many vacations but when we did this was one of them. Looking back I’m pretty sure it was in on near Boone but I’m not quite sure. It all looks pretty much the same. Beautiful, with mountains in the background.. So my wife went there with her sister to scope out the houses this past week. She needed to get out of the house but not be in a crowded area or take a flight. A friend of hers had a small cabin that was secluded and away from people and within one day’s drive. She instantly fell in love with the area.

Michael Berkens and Rick Schwartz have reminded us how nice the Asheville area is and Boone is about 2 hours away from Asheville and 2 hours from Charlotte. We look at it like a mini Colorado at half the cost. If anyone has any tips or areas near there that are nice let me know. Looking for a residence but be allowed to be rented out.

Domain of the Day: Such an awesome name. Positive and fun. I’ll be a bidder on this one

Quote of the Day: “The more I go after that powerful feeling of paying attention, the happier I am. But the more I go after the powerful feeling of getting attention, the unhappier I am.” –Joseph Gordon-Levitt Names at Auction or Available for Pickup Not everyone is going to agree with me on this but I think .io is what takes it from generic to unique. Not that the dot com isn’t a monster name but it has no color to it I normally don’t do two word .io but there are a ton of crypto sites built on dot io and this could be a nice one The dot com sold for a pretty nice price I just like the word pogo. That’s all There are other extensions in use as a sports book already

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Action 17 years old. Great name for VPN or Proxy Server. Reserve met 27 years old. Don’t see a lot of 4Ls this old up for auction very often Get some skin in the dermatology game 21 years old with taken in 22 extensions Nice canna name The X is the placeholder We talked about this on Sherpa. Thought of a home studio. Something more people need now that they work from home. Taken in 37 extensions Not sure of the reserve but all are good

Godaddy Domains With Bids You know I like this one. But I’m not the one putting all the bids in so obviously others like it A bit long but lots of potential advertisers Pronounceable and 18 years old. But only taken in 5 other extensions which lessons the value IMO The pattern the Chinese market likes For the company that specialize in covering companies over individuals Sounds like a food delivery service Much rather have this than I see sports book more than reading book 18 years old and taken in 11 extensions Price is where its at because of link history and juice 21 years old and taken in 15 other extensions A big one is expensive. Would have been a great name back in the day but now its a boring product name. But some do well with these British for bum Gambling ? Taken in 23 other extensions Don’t see many results of any consequence for this one but its taken in 17 extensions and 21 years old which combined with short makes this worth looking at Get the dot net discount. Dot com is build out with trademark so go with the zag not the trademarked zig Sounds like DealBook
