Some of you follow me on Twitter, some don’t. If you do, you know I sold 123. io for a bitcoin to Andy Booth. I had offered it up for 2 BTC when BTC was at 11 and got a few offers for 1. When it hit $15K I offered it up for 1 BTC and Andy took it. I’m not a huge fan of Bitcoin as an investment. I can make so much more trading or even buying and selling domains. BUT. I bought this using bitcoin profits and figured it was only logical I put it back into bitcoin. I made 5 times the money in the domain but bitcoin was in the $9500 range when I bought it. So domains again prove to be the better investment. I’m going to go as long as I can without selling the bitcoins but it really depends on how my other income comes in. The more I have, the less I will need the bitcoin. In the meantime, it stays.
I feel that Bitcoin has made a good surge and ETH has some catching up to do so I moved that bitcoin and the other bitcoin I have to ETH. So far it’s been a good move. Not much of a difference but my ETH is worth a few hundred more than the bitcoin I would have had. I do think Eth and BTC have some room to run. I don’t see any reason why BTC won’t be worth $25K over the next few years. But I see Paypal increasing in value more than BTC so while I believe in BTC, I see the people that create the tools to use it making more than the new entries to BTC. Just my thoughts. Like most days it’s worthless and no more than a diary. We’ll see. In the meantime, Go Paypal, Go ETH, and Go BTC.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
