Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday, September 19th, 2019

Escrow.com

Can you imagine how many people tried to frontrun Detour.com? I’m too lazy to try and get in touch with people that are letting their names expire but many domain investors do. I see nothing wrong with it. It’s good business to try and buy assets before they go for sale. Especially from someone that wasn’t going to see a penny of that name. I’m also sure the Godaddy discourages it because it’s their pockets its coming out of.

While I hate to see anyone lose assets, at the same time expired domains are the lifeblood of domain investors. Every day they add new domains that can be resold for profit. Many that haven’t seen the light of day for decades. Similar to “Garage Find” cars in the car industry but even more rare and unique. Of course people are going to try and get a deal done before it goes to auction. Which makes the auction of Detour even more amazing. Whoever owned it is definitely unreachable because I more than sure that hundreds of people have been trying to contact them to make them aware. All in the guise of helping them out but really its to get their domains. How nice of them.

Domain of the Day: Detour.com Here it is. I say it ends at $53,500. Because that could be my bid

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
