Over the past year, in my opinion, some people have gotten some great deals on LLL.com at auctions . People wonder how that happens. One thing I’ve always worried about is them being stolen. It seems to happen at a much higher frequency than any other name. It’s probably less than one percent of names but its probably 6 times higher chance than any other type of domain. I say probably because I have no idea what they real stats are. But they are liquid and super easy to move and that’s why people steal them. I’m not sure what guarantee or due diligence Sedo has about stolen names but my guess is they can’t guarantee it. We discussed this exact topic on Domain Sherpa on the episode this coming week. The ending is always the same. Hard to track down if you don’t dig deep and someone loses a lot of money
