We’ve all seen it.  That lone cart at the grocery store that’s just sitting there.  Is it a gift?  Is it a cart that someone has left there because they didn’t need to take it all the way to the car?  Sparing us the wrestling match of trying to get a single cart separated from the Human Centipede stacking 50 feet deep. I some time wonder if they were welded together by a high school shop class trying to record me shaking and pulling like I’m trying to pull the sword from the stone.  Or is it  there because its the worst cart in the whole store? 

Has it been set aside because it pulls so hard to the right that you have no choice but to start on the left side of the store and keep making right turns like you’re in NASCAR.  Maybe it has a chunk taken out of the wheel that’s so bad that your bananas are actually bruised and your hands itch by the time you get to the checkout lane .  You just don’t know.  It’s really the biggest decision you’ll make all day.  It completely effects your shopping experience and maybe your mood the rest of the day. If she rolls smoothly you were given a gift.  A smile for the next 12 hours.
