Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday August 29th , 2018

There really any such thing as quick cash in domain investing if you want anything less than “title loan” type buy.  Putting up a domain for auction and getting paid can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks depending on when your buyer pays.  Namejet is a great place to auction your names but it takes time to process.   One one hand you have Godaddy that has a very quick payment requirement which leaves a lot of money on the table because foreign buyers can’t get their auctions paid quick enough.  To Namejet that can get full auction value by giving 20 plus days but you have to wait for the money.  If you need money in a week you pretty much have to take whatever another domain investor is willing to give you.

I have bought 3 or 4 LLLL.coms lately from people that needed money.  I feel bad I shorted them.  Paying much below what they just bought them at auction for but the way I see it they would have lost 20% at auction and the starting point is what the next highest bidders was.  Or even more important, where I was willing to bid it up to.  I try and be fair because most of the people are friends that just need a little cash.  But it is business.  I do my charity work elsewhere.  Here are today’s names. Click through to see the current price

Quote of the Day:  “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing.  That’s why we recommend it daily” –Zig Ziglar

Domain of the Day:    At the $17 present price, I think its the best deal on the board today

Namejet and Sedo Names   Reserve met.  Jobster is over at Godaddy for 4 times the price and may not be as good of a name  Met reserve and IMO would be a good buy at this price  Also met reserve.  This one just above $10K  Getting close.  Pretty sure this one will sell as well  Met reserve at $119.   Going to be a directory some day.  Or maybe a marketing name for a kennel    I think this makes a good brand.   Easy logo    Met reserve so its going to sell  I think this is a place where you sell hats.  If not it should be.  Reserve met  Met reserve at $81   Kind of hard to spell but one of the hottest jobs in the US. In huge demand   No bids, no reserve on this decent escrow name

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids  What a great name for a brand.  Exudes rejuvenation and getting back to original look    Not how you spell it. Some bidders don’t care or don’t know  It’s all about shipping right now with so much being purchased online and lack of truck drivers  It sounds like an old site.   22 year old domain .  Start with the basics    game or app all the way   Dozens of places with this in their name.  Price is banking on an upgrade. 1993 domain  A bit generic but I know what I’m getting with the name  Virtual receptionist  Sounds like a new Food Network show   Sounds like a lot of fun and love.  Hope negotiations stay peaceful   a ski resort.  Been closed for 2 years while under renovation.   Great city, great show  There are going to be a lot more companies trying to find people that people trying to find jobs   I’m the opposite.  But there are millions that fit this category   If you haven’t seen it, its beautiful.  Lay it down, let it snow and it lights it up   GD values this at $4900

Godaddy Domains With No Bids No bids.  If this is your job it would be a pretty nice email/marketing name for $12 IMO  Because you know there is and/or will be something named this E Sports league.  Might be pushing it.  even at $12  Real sweet name.  Or not real sweet name  Probably better as Sales Coach but this one is $12 so you get what you pay for  Math tutor site  Nice marketing name for anything sales related  I literally just heard this theory today on Joe Rogan.  That we evolved from Aquatic Apes Not a bad brand for $12  sounds like a company that would put on Monster Truck events   I like the letters.  I hope nobody else does
