Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday February 12th, 2020

It’s hard not to write about the big sale of Uniregistry to Godaddy but it also was one of the easiest predictions so far. You talk to anyone at NamesCon and they all said Frank Schilling was in a different place. Not necessarily a bad place, just a different place. It all pointed to some big changes ahead one way or another. It was one of the worst kept secrets over the last few weeks that they were in negotiations and every time someone told me, I had to act like it was the first time I heard it to keep someone from getting in trouble who told me originally. I’ve heard all kinds of numbers and rumors from $75 million to $150 million but at this point it doesn’t matter. Its one of the biggest portfolio sales of all times and Frank Schilling can live out his life doing whatever Frank wants to do. Although right now it appears what he wants to do is be 30 and a rock star.

As for Godaddy. Aman the CEO is living up to his word. He is buying assets that are improving his company. He is buying assets that will return profit to his investors. At this point he is saying and doing all the right things. I am not an investor in Godaddy but I will be soon. I need to profit from what I know are sound financial moves. Godaddy may not buy out my portfolio but that doesn’t mean I can’t profit from Godaddy.

It’s also a great time to be a broker at NameFind. They make money selling domains and they just handed them an incredible pantry of names to sell. And finally, Uniregistry names will integrate with Afternic and Fast Transfer so names kept there will be in the registration path. The only people that won’t like this are competitors and people that used Uniregistry just to not use Godaddy. And you know Epik is going to be all over them like stink on shit

Domain of the Day: Closing soon. As good as it gets for online education market

Quote of the Day: The only Zen you find at the top of the mountain is the Zen you bring with you Names at Auction or Dropping Heroes is a gaming word and to me, the types of names people are looking for in GG Sounds like an app or tool X and tech seem to go together pretty well the go for $150 up to four figures based on past sales If you want to exude a do good approach to your investments

Namejet, Sedo, Snap, and other Names Up for Auction 14 years old. Great name for a stock market analysis or technical chart site. Met reserve under $200 One of the most important things in the world. Reliability. No reserve at only $300 at press time We have thousands of them in our state. On every corner. They call them Spin Rooms here but they’re officially slot rooms My guess this is going to do very very well. Which is not great for my purchasing chances Sounds like a company that would do copy machines and shredding. 22 years old Big enough keyword that the .org has good value,, Three LLL with pretty reasonable reserves Great letters and a reserve under $500. Godaddy Domains With Bids You want domains regarding something that everyone wants or has. Everyone definitely has an opinion. A lot of older men have been taking this to keep their muscles and vitality. Not sure if its worth the risks The top number of bids on the Godaddy board today Big marketing name for a company that does this Anyone that has had LLN and NNL dot coms has done pretty well over the years Perfect name for a home goods store. With pillows, lots of lots of pillows Makes marijuana sound so wholesome Says it right there what their offering. I see it as a marketing name not a company name. 18 years old Means nothing to me but GD gives it a $4K value and has some bids Has some history and juice but I think its worth this price just as a brand Cleaning could be dry cleaners or commercial/home cleaning A lot of Google results and most of them are for bars or beer houses Shows what I know. I didn’t like this one too much but its gotten four figure bids If you want to start a site about Washington then here’s your prejuiced name to get you a head start My curse IQ is the driver here Great letters and under $500 at press time which IMO would be a good price
