Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday July 18th , 2018

Jul 18 2018

Escrow.com

I’ve started to realize I may be a bit spoiled.   I have been given a simple rule at my house.  When I am working I’m not pressured to help around the house very much. And I work a lot.  I do a little laundry, empty the dishwasher, take out the trash, but that’s about it.  I do a little yard work but really not much besides water the garden.  I don’t even mow the lawn.  My wife does that.  But the second I am not working, I sure as Hell better help.  No laying around watching movies or TV.  There is no such thing as laying down at my house.  I have to watch TV while I type this or maybe 20 minutes before bed.  But in return for working all the time I am treated pretty well.  My wife and daughter make me dinner every night and the best cooks around.  So good that the only reason we go out to dinner is so they don’t have to cook.  But its never as good as their food.  We’ve even taken out going out for coffee by buying a fancy coffee house espresso machine that takes up the whole counter but makes amazing coffee.   My daughter took a job at a fancy food store so she could learn to make a top notch drink.  A sample of how nice I’m treated in my home.  When I got home from my run yesterday my daughter had a two shot cafe ole ready for me at the table.   And tonight I had a late lunch and wasn’t very hungry so my wife made me a BLT.  But here is the kicker.  She only toasts one side so that I still get the crunch but the outside is soft so I don’t hurt my mouth when I eat it.   I’m living the life.  A non scarred mouth, high on caffeine, not having to mow the lawn life.

On a domain note.

Instead of doing a July Great Domains auction, Sedo is having a Summer Auction. The GreatDomains Summer Auction takes place August 23 – 30 and gives the chance for someone with just one name to sell a chance to get it up at auction.   If you’d like to submit a name to the auction you can log into your account.  There is no $10 fee if your name gets accepted (commission on sale of name) and gives you an opportunity to get your name in front of a lot of eyeballs.  Of course come back here to get it showcased on our list.

And my bidding.  I only bid on one name.  Dupia.  Not a real exciting name but a decent 5L.com.  I bid $69 at Namejet and nobody else wanted it so I won the auction. No drama, no decisions.  If I can keep the better quality 5L cheap like this  I only have to sell one of them to pay for 25 of them . So far I have been able to keep that model going.  Now on to today’s names.    If you like the names below, click through to see the current price

Quote of the Day:  “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music”          -Nietzsche

Domain of the Day:  Tattoo.me        Great use of the dot me extension.  Put it on the window of the tattoo show

Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction

IA.com  This is the big boy name on the board.  Name of the Summer.  I am going to bid just to say I bid but I will make sure its under the reserve

GamerRewards.com  28 bidders, met reserve. Its amazing what people will do or pay to have a purple costume or some other crazy skin in a game

Divider.com  aka Trump.  Sorry, too easy

CompanyBonds.com  I used to work in the bond room at the Chicago Stock Exchange.  Hundreds of billions of dollars being  put in corporate and muni bonds (I worked in the muni bond room)

PokerCenter.com  Absolutely worth the reserve IMO.  If you are a poker company that is

PowerSync.com Upgrade name for quite a few companies and products

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

LabNet.com  1995 birthday.  Already four figure bidding

RRTY.com  If LLLL.com CHiPs were supposed to go down then nobody got the memo

AstrologyCharts.com    Surprising how many people are still in to astrology.  Price reflects it

MoonStorm.com   An upgrade name for a few a bad ass name for some new company

LDI.org  22 year old LLL.org

RoseStone.com   Jewelry or just a nice two word brand

IMFX.com  The FX part and maybe the “I AM” part is going to get this over four figure

Zizio.com   This 5L is getting much more action.  People like the io ending. Not the .io but Vizio type names

BeerTrails.com   I had no idea this was a thing but the price told me it was something.  I Googled it and evidently people follow beer trails to visit different breweries and beer makers.  I guess I just don’t drink enough

PeterProfit.com    If I was trying to find a “stage name” for my online sales name this would definitely be it

MrMarketing.com  For marketing I go with this one

Lytro.com    This used to be a camera company that at the time was pretty revolutionary.  Just take an overall picture and then adjust it when you get on your computer.   Tons of backlinks and history.  Only $14,500 and climbing at press time

756555.com  What a huge different in price between at triple repeater at the end vs at the beginning

Qela.com  This should cross $5K pretty easily

Fittings.net  I was thinking pipe and connections at first but now I think its a tailoring name all the way

Godaddy Names With One or NO Bids

Zotch.com  Pronounceable 5L.com with no bids at $12

TeenLabs.com   Sounds a little perverted but would be a good name to introduce teens to tech

RapeClub.com WTF godaddy

NextVegas.com  The original Vegas is pretty good

BodyShave.com   Girls pretty much do this now.  Even some men

WeedGate.com   Nice cannabis name

RoboBase.com  Anything Robo has value in this day and age

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

Maybe I’m weird, but I enjoy mowing the lawn. To me it’s like a peaceful time to just get away from things especially if it’s a riding mower, but even with a push mower I’ve never minded it.
