Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday July 3rd, 2019

Escrow.com

After 10 years of domain investing I’ve realized something.   My best investment strategy is to simply do nothing.  Time is on my side.  Every day that passes my good domains are increasing in value.  The key is to buy names that fit in that category.  Because the rest are liabilities that just add renewal fees.   I am successful in domain investing because I have a job that pays my bills that is not domain investing.  I have zero need to sell a domain other than to feed my addiction of buying names.  Fortunately I have sold just enough to appease that addiction and when I don’t have any money to spend, I move my focus towards other things that occupy my time and distract my addiction.

Two things happen with my “setup”.  My bills all get paid.  My lifestyle is intact.  I get to choose what to do with my post tax money.  Buy more domains or spend it on something.  With prices rising as fast as they are I’ve gotten to do both.   Prices have enabled me to replace the domain, pay my taxes, and take some trips.  I know Rick Schwartz has been preaching this method forever but it’s pretty hard to do nothing when ever day you look over every domain available at auction.  The desire to buy builds and I don’t bring in other income into domain investing,  so its sell to buy.   Don’t get me wrong, there is a great business model to buying and selling domain at auction. Auctions are the lifeblood of our industry.  I just am too busy to do anything more than put in a price I want for a domain and come back to see if I won.  I also just wait for domain offers to come in.  Wait, wait, wait.   Wait for a better domain to come for sale, wait for cash to build,  and wait for better offers.   Time is on my side and I have plenty of things to occupy my time while I wait.   Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on

Domain of the Day: ReviewMe.com       The entire purchase process on the Internet is run by reviews

Quote of the Day:  A goal is not always meant to be reached; it often serves simply as something to aim at.” – Bruce Lee

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.

  1. As the great Jesse Livermore said, and so true with domains, “As long as a stock is acting right, and the market is right, do not be in a hurry to take a profit. You know you are right, because if you were not, you would have no profit at all. Let it ride and ride along with it. It may grow into a very large profit, and as long as the “action of the market does not give you any cause to worry,” have the courage of your convictions and stay with it.” -Jesse Livermore”

  2. I’ve been doing this about a year and I’m finding that your mindset is the best mindset.

Don’t be in a rush to sell. Don’t be in a rush to acquire (specifically getting into bidding wars at auctions). Definitely don’t be in a rush to spend all of your available funds because of FOMO. There will always be another opportunity around the corner.

Patience is definitely the key to this game. And the best way to develop that patience is to work on something else!
