DShane’s LIST of Auction Picks: Wednesday the 11th, 2015

Escrow.com

You know the Chinese market is hot when Sedo adds new tools to find numerics and Dot Club decides to auction off their numerics.  Everyone wants a piece of the pie.  Heck I put my racing bib up for auction because I was runner 883 and got $40 (joke).  A person emailed me to say they put up 30 or so of the 6N.coms they hand regged a few weeks ago and got $20 a piece.  Not a ton of money but doubling your money in 2 weeks is pretty damn good.  No matter how much the amount.  And contrary to many people’s opinion, the money I have been receiving from selling Chinese domains?  It spends just fine. Matter of fact it spends just like the money I’ve received from the US. I just get a lot more of it from China.  Here are today’s names. Click for current prices.
.
FHLJ.com  A CHIP under $900 won’t last very long.  Will certainly rise as it closes
.
QuickFax.com  Now the money isn’t in the fax but the fax to email subscription.  Soon everyone will just have scanners.  No fax machines. 20 years old.  6 bidders
.
GMBT.com   Western and Chinese. 17 years old.  Sedo is lagging a bit but otherwise the CHIP prices are $1800 to $2K
.
6817.com  At $3800.  Just kidding, quite a bit higher than that
.
MGTW.com    Another Western/Chinese premium.   Some good investments on the board today IMO
.
HCBJ.com  Hard Core Barnaby Jones.  Andy always got em
.
GetCurves.com  No bidders.  Nice weight loss, workout name for $12
.
66.biz  Super short biz names have exploded.  Maybe it was always high they just had never come up for sale
.
WD.biz  There are a lot so I’ll list all the good dot biz here RR, G5, SX, NW, SS, LX, CS, DI, OR, HW, WT, HE, JQ, NL, DS, XV, RX, HP, AP, HC, XN, MB, OB, OA, TS   You get the point, there is a shipload
.
888733.com  From my various studies of Chinese domain name I have discovered that 888 is good
.
678883.com   Still good
.
937288.com   88 is also good.   Not as good but enough to pay for dinner good
.
YBNB.com  Bed and Bucketloads of cash.  Air BNB makes this worth even more than a CHIP IMO
.
36210.com   Has a zero but only 5 numbers.  Four figs and beyond
.
999791.com   9s are not 8s but there are 3 which is nice.  It’s not hard to figure out the best, its the middle of the road that is tough
.
TTTF.net  Using the 5% rule this should be $300 plus.  Has a ways to run IMO
.
NMMM.net  Exactly the same here
.
NNNG.net  And one more.  If you like LLLL.nets then you have to like today
.
RVXX.com  Those Vs sure do get in the way some time.  Hopefully they become the new Z next year.  Doubt it
.
30586.com   Take what you can get on the 5N.com  Most of the good ones are tightly held
.
KXDA.com   I am buying the As becauseI think they are cheap but…….the X hurts me because it is for the Western market.  This name is in between the markets for me.
.
WhoIsTheBest.com    Good name for the price.  Everyone wants to know who the best is
.
04603.com  The bottom of the barrel in 5N.com But hey, you can say you own one
.
NameInvestors.org   One bidder at $10.  Figured a few of you would like this one
.
189036.com  At $37. Probably worth more
.
Xodiac.com   Gets killed in the radio test but at $17 its a pretty nice brand
.
Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 – Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)
.
GTG.net  Pretty nice dot net.   That would be an EASY six figure dot com
.
KRRR.com   Triple repeater.  I think this one is a good buy at the current price.  Thought it would be higher
.
XWTX.com  The flanking Xs.  Always in high demand.  OK maybe not always, but now it is
.
SRXC.com  I used to buy XC names because they stood for Cross Country running.  Now they are worth a bunch more. Funny how you buy for one reason and another reason is what gave them value.
.
GBQV.com   Vs seem to do better than vowels.  This one is below market value IMO.  Sometimes these smaller market places can get you some deals
.
HIYC.com  Probably better as a Western acronym than a CHIP.  An enduser sale is the play here IMO
.
UQDA.com   Surprised but this one has more bids and a higher price than the above.  I guess I should never be surprised

SAAE.com   Fantastic Western Premium.  And the price is as Good as a Chip

MENZ.com   Ready for a buildout as a mens alternative lifestyle site
FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM
.
GUMO.com   17 years old. I love gum. Chew it every day.  Keeps the teeth white
.
FTB.net  CHIPnet  Prices creep up a little every day
.
VOIPPhone.com   This is the case where the plural would be better IMO but still a nice name
.
DPST.com  Western CHIP .  16 years old.
.
CMNY.com  New York and Shanghai
.
KGNM.com   New Mexico and Nanjing
.
9Fingers.com  Used to be the website of a chainsaw repairman.  Just kidding.  No value other than comedy
.
PGRR.com   The value of double repeaters needs to be checked daily and this one will help establish the new weekly price
.
WE.biz   If you didn’t get your taste of dot biz above here’s another LL.biz for you
.
8881533.com  I know its a 7N.com but it has bids, quite a few, and its hard to ignore when people are paying money for something.  Am I just supposed to look away?  There are buyers and there are sellers aka a market.  Just doing my job here. Sorry, I got to stop talking to myself.

    1. Don,
They’re not. Pure chance that 3 days in a row the post was exactly 1 minute ahead. If I was consistent on the time I would have understood but I changed the time and it still was there. Nothing this morning. Nothing against them, just testing ideas.
