DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Friday, August 21st 2015

Aug 21 2015
NamesCon (don’t forget to capitalize the C when typing it out I’ve been told) talk is already heating up.  It’s probably because The Domain Conference is coming up this fall and it reminds people.  Namescon truly is THE place to meet fellow domain investors and there is absolutely no reason not to go. Its cheap and in the most fun city in the US.   And you don’t even have to shake hands or gamble because I’ve seen a few domain investors pass on both the last few years (one was sick and the other is weird) .   Or even better yet, go to both conferences.   Here is today’s list.  Great marketing name for a pharma company.  No bidders. 12 years old   Two things most girls (and many boys) love.  No bidders $12  Not sure if its a big enough category to have its own site but there are tons of hose repairs at the big box store.  10 years old and only one bidder   10 years old.   Oklahoma City something something.  Over $100 at press time   The reason JS names are doing well is there is/are big gambling sites that start with JS and that has made the two letters synonymous with gambling in China.  This one is doing very well   Another one.  I’m not saying buy these but there is opportunity in knowing things others don’t.  Know that JS names are rising in value is something a lot of people didn’t know   Make sure to take a look at the prices on these below  All of these are over $200   Look how much the price drops when you add a 4   At $10.  Worth a little to some mofo’s  Over $15K, maybe more by the time you read this.  Can’t tell you a reason for this one.  Can anyone fill me in?   My favorite of the week.  Ends a little later

New GODADDY COUPON CODE: None Work, None. Click the link to See that None of them Work Godaddy Click This For No Savings   A decent call to action.  Ok I think about the Toto song too  Great brand yet no bids.  1999 birthday  Flip from Flippa to Godaddy   9 years old.  Great for a buildout to capitalize on those high CPCs.  Gets a few hundred visits a month.  At $60 at press time.  Ends today, of course I accidentally said that yesterday but it ends at roughly 6 am central  Obvious use for obvious people.  Evidently a lot of people are going to be ordering food online according to all the bids.  Actually a very nice name  Great writeup.  “NNNN.coms are valuable”  well done  Millions of people wear these every day.  For construction and safety.  Athletes wear them as well when running or biking.   At $1

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now  Awesome letters. 20 years old   Good name if that’s what you do   Good, short,  pronounceable brand.  The only problem I see is too many bidders  Reek  Awesome  Certainly easy to remember   Every vehicle hauler in the world should want to own this.  And a few domainers hoping to sell it to them   Every women hopes to have this.  They don’t look forward to it but they have to hit middle age to get it (in most cases) .  But they all look for ways to make it easier.  Big buildout name    Worth watching  Remember you’re bidding against people that are probably high.  Be careful
