DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Friday, May 29th, 2015

May 29 2015

I had a great comment the other day say I was just guessing at my prices when it came to domain names.  And I am.  We all are.  Nobody has a clue what domains are going to sell for or not sell for.  All we can do is go on past sales history.  We can’t analyze the pocketbooks or the ideas of other buyers.  One of, if not the biggest domain broker in the world, Andrew Rosener, will most likely agree with me when I say we give educated guesses as to what we think something is worth but on a give day we could be as much as 50% off. And that’s what makes domains so special, they are all unique.  But I bet we can tell you which one WON’T sell for much at auction.  But once they have liquidity, it’s anywhere from there.     Here are today’s names   I knew it was going to do well but it looks like it could hit 5 figures  There are a lot of Jaspers across the US.  They won’t pay a lot to get the domain but with no bidders you won’t have a lot in it  I feel comfortable buying any of this quality for $12. I am/was the high bidder   A would imagine a commercial AC guy would want this one  Solid names for domain sales results.   BUT….It’s also for sale at Flippa.  Owner is double dipping     Going for more than you think it is  Going for less than you think it would   Should hit two grand by the time you read this   Someone has really screwed up their last four letters in the alphabet  Another $2K name and climbing  If you are going to buy a   This is the kind you want to buy   I was having dot cc withdrawals.   Over $200 at press time

VERIFIED GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy art199    I could pretend like I have some great acronym for it but the reality is the market for these is incredible and you would be lucky to own an of this quality.  Not much more to say  Last year these would have been considered the worst letters.  Now it has takers that love the letters Hit reserve at $400.  I think its worth a little more

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now   19 years old.  Plans for homes that won’t fall down.  The best kind  I don’t see any value but do love half the domain.  20 years old   The CVCV.coms are great brands but it takes a while to sell them.  But you should still want to own a few  I don’t have a clue what this would be used for but a known, memorable word and that’s always a good place to start  Ditto    The I is keeping the value down but as I’ve said lately, buy value priced LLLL.coms and it will pay off   Freelance coding site ready and waiting
