Get used to it for the next 5 years. Discussion about whether gTLDs are a good investment. Everyone has their opinion and we pretty much know which side each person has taken. To me arguing it is worthless. I will merely post what I’ve purchased and let everyone else decide if I am going to make money. Of course all the opinion really doesn’t matter because I’m the only one that will make or lose money on my purchases. Frank has a lot more to lose or gain in the new gTLDs and I think he is an intelligent business person, but I don’t think he sees the future any clearer than anyone else. I just think that he wants to be a part of all areas of domain names and the new gTLDs are an important part of where we are headed. Throw in a registrar and a monetization platform and he has domain names pretty much covered from all angles. Its called diversification. If you want an real opinion of the new gTLDs ask Namebio. Check the daily sales and you will see the market evolve as secondary sales start to appear. Trends are your friends. Will it be too late by then? Its never to late. There are always names to buy and sell no matter when you get in. Here are today’s names
CoinPress.com We still doing bitcoin names? 17 years old
SoOld.com Yes I am. One bidder. Could also be Soooooold as in what the auctioneer calls out
ALNR.com The kind of LLLL.coms I’m buying. Good letters and not scared of the vowel because it makes it cheaper right now
Haodia.com I have no idea why its this high but I’m a sucker for a lot of bids
CGXM.com Top bid getter on Godaddy today.
Richmond.net A lot of Richmond’s in the world
UHipster.com 58,000 monthly visits if you believe Godaddy
EUOV.com Three vowels and a V. The most unwanted LLLL.com right now which means its going to be the most desirable LLLL.com on the planet next year
FirstMedical.com A ton of companies would benefit from upgrading to this name
New GODADDY COUPON CODE: $.99 New Registration Godaddy fb99brmr01
INGM.com No reserve ends today. Next bid could take it and its under $300
X2.cc Has a nice bid and shows that the CC.cc domains are being accepted as a good investment by Chinese
KZ9.com Owner says he’s had several offers on the domain (but I guess everyone says that). Met reserve and it’s under $1K
8IJ.com I Guarantee its worth more than its current bid of $1
9SJ.com And ditto here. Only at $200
Deadbolt.com This is one of the names that I think is starting to show a trend. People are starting to not bid on names they feel they will never meet reserve. Its at $51 and we all know its worth a lot more than that
Smart3d.com Two great keywords on their own and work together as well. I smell a VR play.
SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now
OLQ.com Who would’ve thought that the O would drag this one down and have the Q save it? Either way, a $20K name. Unless you sell it at Heritage Auction and then it would be $15K (not a jab but anyone else think the results were pretty low in the DNJournal report?)
SWTS.com 17 years old. Great letters for all languages
Cards.org A lot of people play cards. Some of them even do it for money
GPNT.com Top number of bids of all the LLLL.coms on Namejet
DEDD.com Second most bids but to me not exactly what I would use for my company
OGGE.com 3rd most bids. Namejet is like all the auction houses right now. Mostly LLLL.coms
PrimeSlot.com Not very many bids. Could be used for a lot of different things. Solid brand
