DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Saturday, January 31st, 2015

Escrow.com

If you noticed lately, Aaron and I have started tweeting more often and actually using Twitter like it supposed to be.  Putting up some things, commenting on others, and retweeting the things we like.  We’d love to hit 5000 followers and we’re not too far away.  If you are interested in what we have to say, please follow DomainShane HERE.  Our goal is to pass TheDomains totals and after I buy another 11,000 followers we should be dead even.  Also, the newsletter hit 200 subscribers and 100 of those actually actually read it each night.  An interesting thing to watch was a Chinese bot/person/thing kept signing up tens of people with [email protected] accounts and then unsubscribing the next day.  Probably 40 times over a few days.  I was pretty excited about the signups until I saw how many were the john emails.  But we are happy with how many people are getting the daily list and extra stories via email. It may hurt traffic to the blog but reaching people is reaching people.  If you’d like to sign up and see what we’re sending out signup is on the top right hand side.  If you’d like to sponsor the newsletter the going rate right now is very very cheap :).  Here are today’s domains.

SNCB.com  20 years old.  Great letters and getting a great price.  Want

DesertRock.com  18 years old.  Would make a nice brand.  A few bidders

BuyItForMe.com  Sound like my daughter.   16 years old.  No bidders

RNMG.com  G for group.  15 years old

LLFC.com  Another nice one.  First duty, win the auction.  Second, hope it doesn’t get renewed

SHRT.com   One “i” away from having a shirt

FWHM.com    I think I used to read this magazine………but I could be wrong

SearchFashion.com  I like the name but unfortunately so do a few other people.  They probably are more fashionable than me

WNJA.com  I think it’s a great buy under $50

Zubbo.com  In my opinion these are the next short brands that sell for $1000.  Short, memorable, and can be anything.  I could be wrong but I’m a buyer of these

GuaranteedHookups.com    Sounds like prostitution to me but sure would be a draw to your site or app

SIGN UP FOR OUR NEW NEWSLETTER (top right of the page) for this list delivered the night before with some fun and games added

Nudez.com  Surprised how high the bidding has gotten but dirty pics have LOTS of page views. Heck, build it out and I’ll beta test it for you

Cheap.net  One of the best prices I’ve seen for a dot net lately.  But billions of people like cheap things, this name won’t be one

Fouls.com   Foul.net came up yesterday and I think it actually went for more than this dot com is going for

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: A 1.99 Cent Dot Com Registration. Used on 1/28/15 ctfxc

GBPS.com  Not a lot of names on the Namejet list today but can’t go wrong with a good old LLLL.com

Freshito.com  Fresh in Spanish…..and I made that up.  But sure sounds like it.  No bidders

80248.com   Only 3 bidders

32688.com   Double 8 brings all the boys to the yard

RedKnife.com No bidders. They might be scared of the bloody knife thing not being a good brand.  I think it still works.  May bid on it myself

PureOrganics.com   Organics won’t do it anymore.  Has to be PURE organics. None of this 95% organic shit

Respectful.com  I’ve been told I’m not very respectful.  But I told that old lady to fuck off

TradeCurrency.com  Forex affiliate pays huge and so should this

575757.com  Can’t believe this has so many bidders and is at this price.  Learning every day

  1. On the Sherpa show you were very negative about .net’s, but now in a sponsored listing you are endorsing it, pick a side

    1. Mike,

Completely wrong. You watch one show and make this stupid statement. If you do any reading here you’ll know I’ve been preaching that high quality keyword dot nets present good value right now. I even said that Frank Schilling and I have been battling at Namejet for them. Those for nets were bad. The lesser quality dot nets have become almost worthless . But you have to know the difference to keep from making a bad purchase. Also the value is buying them now at a low. If you bought them a few years ago you have taken a big loss. So I’ve picked a side . You can see how I get pissed off when people make these stupid ass statements
