DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Saturday, October 3rd, 2015

Escrow.com

Namejet is crushing it again today.  Some fantastic names again for the second day in a row.  I bought a portfolio of 173 names yesterday which is half as many as I presently own.  I’ll explain it in a later post but it really was an unusual move for me but it my decision had to be made in the next few days if I wanted the best opportunity for return.  It could be a waste of thousands of dollars or it could be a quick double, triple, or more.  Domain investing is gambling, educated gambling, but gambling.  But gambling is not a bad word.  All it means to me is higher risk, higher return.  Anything that is not 100% is gambling.  That being said, I have made enough money in domain investing that if I never made another dime I would be way way far ahead.  So I’m playing the rest of my career out on “the houses money”.  But I really have no intention of not making another dime. Here’s today’s list. Click for current prices.

Rande.com  19 years old.  Name, places, and things.  Under $150 at press time

HFSI.com   18 years old.  I for international.  It may not be considered premium to some but I think its worth owning under $700

SuperSheet.com One bidder at $12.  17 years old.  I don’t know what the sheet is going to have on it to make it super but worth $20 to find out

GAAJ.com   Two vowels.  Ick.  I still say its worth buying despite how terrible it is.  General Assistance Administration of Jacksonville.  Pretty sure that’s not the final end user

TheDomainGuru.com No bidders.  13 years old.   Pretty good blog name for $12

KG5.com Has one bid at $1200.  And I think its not a bad buy

43o.com  Has been up for auction and sold a few times and each time a little more than the last

WYP.cc   Another LLL.cc crossing the $500 mark

SkillDown.com  Not sure I believe Godaddy’s 120,000 visits a month number

666185.com   The three sixes brings em in and rising prices keeps em interested

808885.com When for of the 6 numbers is 8 you’re going to do fine in this market

QGro.com   I’m a bidder on this one.  Quality Grow.  Under $150 is a good buy in this market

InternetAccess.com  Most of the world has it.  We all need it.  Pretty generic but still a pretty awesome name

InternetBrowser.com   Might as well add this one to the above

GESI.com  147 bidders.  20 years old.  CVCV are lagging a little behind the Chinese LLLL.com but that may present value

VisitFreeport.com  A lot of cities use VisitCity.com as their tourism site.   No bidders

VisitSantoDomingo.com  A million residents.   Spanish speaking so this would be more geared toward English speaking residents.  No bidders

Projections.com   I project this will not make reserve

DRMS.com  I was going to not put this one on the list because I didn’t want to raise the price but there’s 100 bidders so my little list isn’t going to make any difference

GTNP.com  18 years old.  Good for both LLLL.com economies

LaundryBasket.com   Loved this one on Sherpa and still love it 6 days later

Blazed.com  Get Lit

SelfPortraits.com   The original selfie

NYSI.com  I think I watch this show on NBC

CollegeofDesign.com  Not a college of design.  THE college of design….dot com

MobileGroomers.com   Every town (ok a lot of towns) have a mobile dog grooming service.  Sell it to one of them

LLLL.co  I don’t like dot co but that doesn’t mean that a bunch of you don’t like it.

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

PenisDiseases.com  No thank you.  All yours
