Yesterday TLD.org wrote a post that had the comment and said something to the effect that he hardly reads any domain blogs any more. And unfortunately I am right there with him. I admit I am part of the problem. Aaron, my partner, actually does some research and prepares some great original content. Me, it’s pretty much this list and a few extra articles a week. After spending 2 hours writing this post I don’t have much time to do much original writing. I wish I did more. I long to do more. But I struggle to make time. But the desire is still there. But I too spend 15 minutes at most on domain blogs at this point. The amount of original content is much less than it used to be. Now its mostly, “here is what I read elsewhere and my take on it” Instead I choose to spend my day going through comps, auction results, and upcoming auctions trying to learn value. That’s the reading that seems to make me more money. Here are today’s names
DIRS.com 20 years old. If you haven’t tasted a good Dir you haven’t lived.
EquityLoans.com Big boy name. Tens of millions of people have or are looking to take out home equity loans
PurpleHouse.com No bidders. 18 years old. Buy it and paint it earth tones
MLoan.com 8 bidders and got my attention because it has the word loan and is short
LoanShop.com Looks like the theme today is loans. Lots of bids and lots of price. Going to need a loan to buy it
MarijuanaCooking.com Edibles could end up being as big of a market as the smoking
CookingMarijuana.com Not quite the same and thus the one bid. Yet someone out there will try and tell you it IS the same
0989.net As expected. Has bids and is growing in value as you are reading this
T-Swift.com Taylor Swift is so popular that even shitty domains named after her have bids
SMQO.com At $20. Worth more than that IMO
SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now
Tornado.net 19 years old and getting no love at all. Some might call it a natural disaster. Sorry
ForeverHappy.com At $1 and 13 years old. Seller is not happy
Shower.net Doing a lot better than Tornado
A GODADDY COUPON CODE: 99 Cent Tranfer. te99comp
VVV.com The time has finally come. Please, someone set up a live feed
SZP.com I feel so bad for szp having to go to auction in the shadow of vvv.com
IWPP.com No bidders. Can’t believe it will last but not going to be very many…..until it went on the list
Z70.com Love this NLL.com. Could be the name of any brand
8316.com No 4s means $10K plus
7447.net One 4 bad, two 4s good

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? The list above is hand curated from every name that is up for auction at Godaddy, Flippa, Namejet, Sedo, and 4.cn. We can add your name to this list for $10 per name, per day. We take no more than 3 names per day and if I think you name won’t sell, I won’t let you waste your money or our readers time. *All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct
This is a nice list. I believe SZP will surely get what it deserves with or without VVV. I still read domain blogs voraciously. I guess that’s because am still a learner.
Thank you for posting.
I used to hardly ever read any domain blogs because I was too lazy to bookmark them or remember to go to each one, but then domaining.com came along and I now go to domaining.com every day and click on a few links, or at least read the title/summary of each posting,
