DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Thursday, Feb 26th, 2015

 I finally sold a domain this month.  I bid everything high and since I have a decent amount of cash I have no need to give anything away and that’s resulted in lots of negotiations but no sales. But this one, unlike most offers I get, came in via email and was a good offer.  5 minutes of negotiation and we had a deal.  It was one of my 5L.com and we settled on my minimum $2500.  I have a good portfolio of 5L.coms and this was one I picked up on a drop so I took the offer.  Going to use the money to renew the rest of my domains for the year and I’ll be domain debt free until 2016. Here are today’s names

MagicBalloon.com  Sounds like a kids game or something that opens up an artery.  18 years old

ForSeeds.com  No bidders.  Not huge value but 16 years old and probably worth at least $12

BusinessPlans.net  255 million results and tons of ads.  Consider the dot net a nice discount on a good keyword

RentAHubby.com  One bidder. 15 years old. I’ve seen businesses where you can essentially get a handy man.

Wildly.com  These are the types of names I wish I had bought more of.  Conjugations of verbs and adjectives that used to be cheap.  They’re not anymore

HomeGenie.com    I need a home genie.  Between the cold weather and all the running I think we do two loads of laundry a day

 Domainery.com  Has one bid…………………..at $2K

VUTH.com  Only at $75. Worth 5 times that IMO

66177.com  Great pattern and the double sevens should lead this price higher

EXZV.com  Last year this would have been a shitty domain so that means now its a great domain

Goliath.com  More people root for David but secretly they’d rather be Goliath.  Great brand

BlowDryer.com  Not sure you can make a brand out of it but pretty much every woman in a first world country has one

Educate.io  Education startup.   You can teach them users, not money is what counts

D.ET  Some people will like this one.  I admit I’ve never heard of .ET but plenty of bidders

BE.de  This one may actually make reserve. I don’t know the .de very well but I know that the Germans are not scared to pay big money for .de

282.de  Speaking of .de.  Evidently there’s a market for numerics.  4 bids and met reserve
